Errm ok so

1- Fill the rad. till top.
2- Lift the car from front i guess 1 foot high from the ground will be enough.
3- get a funnel or a bottle that fits well on the rad. hole fill it with water.
4- start the car and wait for the fan to be switched On.
5- then I'll see air bubles and stuff if there was air in the system.
6- after the bubles settle down. Switch off the car.
And its a job well done.

Yes........ you can park car on ramp and dont worry about small bubbles once engine is heated up then there will be very small bubbles dont worry about that...

I use Honda 10w-30. Change it every 3k or 3.5k max.

So, i was just checking my car's rad. today. And noticed the upper rad. hose is pressurised when fan is off (with engine running) but as soon the fan kicks in the hose is not pressurised any more.

I have read your post that these systems are pressurised and the hoses should be like tight and pressurised with engine running.
But in my case the hose gets soft (press-able) when the fan starts. Is it normal or i am having a problem in my cooling system?

Its normal - the radiator cap is working - if you notice the pipes become slightly softer than normal they dont become squishy like on cold engine.

You mean get a 30 wt and half litre kerosene oil.
Is their a specific ratio of this oil and the kerosene to be mixed and poured in the engine?

30/40 aail - 2.5 litre
0.5 litre mitti ka tail

mix and pour into engine, run for 15 minutes on hot engine, DO NOT rev engine at all. drain out and fill with new oil.

please note this is only specified when you have thick solid sludge in your engine. Do not apply this on regular bases as fresh oil has enough detergency in it to remove the built up varnish deposits that you see in normal engines.

Solid sludge usually happens due to choked PCV or leaks on the valve cover gasket. Repair those first.

Dear @xulfiqar bhai. I am using shell helix hx7 in my se saloon. I used to change the oil after every 5000 kms when i used to have long trips. Now i have to do short trips of approximately 5kms. Now what should be the change interval?

is this car maintained by a paid driver? Does this car travel only in cities for very short distances?

use a synthetic oil in there and let it clean itself slowly over time, Or fill up with a cheap 30 wt oil, pour half a litre kerosene in there and let it idle for about 15 minutes (do not rev the engine at all), drain out immediately and fill up with a good synthetic oil like mobil1 5W30. Change the oil filter at the next 2000 kms and change the oil at 6000 kms.

This is my fathers one hand driven car it's weekly running is 15 km (max) as it is used in hyderabad city, it was maintained via Honda dealership and my father's office driver used to take it to dealership for maintenance (Honda 5w-30 or 40 was used). This week i was in hyderabad and thought of talking it for maintenance and when i saw this condition i almost fainted. Thanks Xulfiqar bhai, i would do this flushing ASAP any other recommendation ?

Brother my father never compromises on his cars maintenance this car has never even touched by roadside mechanic and parts, Allah knows better what happened, maybe because it runs in city and used for short trips only . Honda 5w-30 was used with genuine oil filter.

Kick that driver a little hard and ask for record of dealership maintenance..... Like you wont send someone else to get your child check from doctor do same with your car its not entirely the fault of drivers because they know sab tail aik jase hote ha...... mota tail dalo ziada chale ga............

@Xulfiqar bhai can you please tell how to get rid of this sludge i went for tunning at honda dealership and when they opened up the tappet cover it was horrible this much amount of sludge. Now they are recommending to open up all parts and clean them. What do you recommend your openion means alot.

Damn how can this much sludge develop ? What was the oil change interval? Look at my very old and must be over 200k driven engine.

Each and every bolt i get fitted in my presence. But this is a lesson for Lifetime.

maybe faulty pcv or too long drain interval (driver maintenance) or fake oil

you found your issue. Most probably oil was never changed at all. I can also bet you that they are no reciepts of this work.

anyway - whats done is done, fill fresh oil and run it. - btw - extremely low run cars require more earlier oil change.

I want to ask about pulse and glide technique on a manual(a swift 1.3 in my case). Will it work for increasing fuel efficiency and will it have any negative effect on the tranmission,engine, gearbox. The technique i use is as under :

1. Push the car to about 90 Km/hour steadily.
2.Release the foot from accelerator and put the car in neutral.
3. Let the car go in neutral till it reaches at about 60 and then engage car in gear(in gear as per speed)
4. Repeat the cycle.

No negative effects on the transmission; learn rev matching to lengthen the life of the clutch.

At the very least, you need an MPGUINO or SuperMid for this. A Scangauge e, Torque Pro w/ ELM 327 , Ultragauge, and Scangauge II (order of preference low to high) are much better alternatives.

Yes, this will increase your fuel economy if you know what you are doing. Without instrumentation and practice, you can actually get worse fuel economy compared to steady state cruising.

When applied to its full potential, pulse and glide can nearly double your fuel economy, but remember that there is a learning curve involved to get there.

checked my CAR & Said " your ac required service & coil is also need to be change" total cost 3,500/= upto 4000/= and heat-up issue will be resolved.

Went to another AC shop he said " every thing is ok and need to service ur Radiator"

Went to Radiator shop " Your Radiator is OK there is no leakage, no ur Radiator is chocked"

also SRS light is continuously on. it was intermittent before but now its always on. The air bags do not seem to have been deployed. what could be the issue? the car is a CVT and i read in your previous posts that "G-meter" calibration is required for correct working of cvt. what is the procedure and can i use any of the mentioned scan tools for this?
