Yes on CNG idle is perfectly smooth. Issue is only on petrol and that too is random. 4 times out of 10 this issue occurs. I am considering tuning of card may fix this.

Also check the ignition timing

So i have a santro its left wheel kinda resonates at certain speeds errmm like a noise 'Ghoooonnnn Ghoooonnn' - i think we can call it resonance. I guess i have a shorted bearing please courtesy us your expert opinion..
(To save time) if its shorted the procedure to install a new one is as easy as going to latte shop and ask him to remove the existing one and press the new one? Right?

It is definitely the carb. I think it might be fixed without even opening if you are lucky. I can recommend @syncview for the job

Gud hai phir, jab problem ho, phir sochain ga. Btw, spray carb cleaner in the hole at 8 0 clock position in carb throat. It will flow and clean dirt

Yes this hole, spray small puffs, and hold the accelerator cable to keep it from stalling.

Car will give white smoke for a few minutes as carb cleaner burns. It will go wherever the petrol goes and clean the internals.

Remove the cng venturi , reinstall when you have cng

Thanks. I will do it tomorrow... its better than getting the carb opened and messed up the settings as its not giving 18+ on motorway

I still have 30% cng in tank

balkay don't even do that. since you are so happy with your car. in some cases a very small panga can mess things up. i can't take responsibility for such

Just bought a 95 Civic Gli (Australian EG8). Its running on D15b7 (4speed auto) 223000km on odo.
Suggest me suitable fuel (90-95 octane) and engine oil.
Temp needle raises from cool to mid after just 2kms of drive.

Since when is the last time you changed transmission oil ? And any recent clutch adjustment or repair history?

Flow of fuel also looks fine, means fuel pump is working fine
The pipe of vacuum dash pot shown in 3rd last post seems bit cracky but is working fine as when i remove it and put finger in front of it I can feel good suction and engine stalls while putting back immediately stabilizes the engine.

the secondary only unlocks at more than half throttle, it opens up all the way from the vacuum pod connected to it.

The one you point is primary throat, you say it only moves 20 degrees?

It stays at this position when engine is cold and i can move it by hand to only 20 degrees. Didn't tested with engine running and throttle pulled.

Engine no is mostly located on engine block
