@xulfiqar bhai, I am facing a problem. I have ford escape. from yesterday message is coming that oil change required. vehicle is 26k driven. scheduled maintenance is at 30k (at 10k interval, last done at 20k from ford). yesterday went to ford. service adviser check oil, quantity and color was okay. he tell me no problem in this, forget about this message, when you will come for next service at 30k then we will check.
I want to ask, is there any problem about this message?

I hope you both are doing well. I have been trying to scavenge the solution to the problem with my cultus in the forums but I could not get one.

I bought a Cultus 2010 last year, EFI. The first oil change that I had done was right after buying with Havoline 20-50. I didn't know the science behind it then. When I read about oils, I flushed it out after 700KM and replaced it with Mobil Super 2000 10-40. I have ran it for 5000KM.

My car used to give blue smoke on morning start on 20-50 and it slightly increased on thinner oil. Suzuki Samnabad Motors told me to have the valves seals replaced which they will do without opening the head. I have not have this done till now even after 8 months or so. I am willing to have the oil changed again since I feel Zic X7 10w-40 (Fully Synthetic) producing more smoke.

Now, along with morning smoke, smoke is visible in night time when car is idling on AC and there is strong light from a headlight of the car behind me.

I have replaced the oil with ZIC A 10-40 now again because Mobil was not available. The car runs good with good pick and stable RPMs.
I want to have a compression test done before I can go further with any intervention in the engine. One of the mechanics suggested that He will adjust the valves only and recommended to not have the engine opened.

I am confused as to what I should do! If piston rings are leak, I should get a lower compression value and hence lower pick but this is not the case. Should I get the exhaust valve checked first? Any Oil Additive? Valve seals Only? IF yes, please suggest a good mechanic in Lahore because I have had bad experience with Suzuki Samnabad motors.

does the engine feel like its losing spark timing?

does it hesitate bad?

firstly check the fuel pressure when the fuel rail and regulator are hot - do a full thorough test and see that your pump is running correct.

if that doesnt help you may need to check the ignitor - it maybe overheating.

Checked the fuel pressure at the rails when the symptoms were active, and the pressure was inconsistent. Looks like I have another bad fuel pump

can you provide information on what materials were being used when the pads were being installed. Materials being what grease and other compounds.

can you provide information on how the brakes were burnished?

Nissin brake pads. The OEM of brake calipers is nissin as well.

Now to the point...what grease? They didn't use any kind of greasing compound. Just the usual brake pad removal with dusting and sanding with sand paper.

The rotors were resurfaced on a lathe machine.

Has the engine been swapped recently or have you done away with CNG recently?

Engine is genuine.. But cng kit has recently been removed..

did they give you information of what error codes the ECU was showing in the scanner tool?

@ Xulfiqar....Sir I am having a problem with my Mark X 250G that has come up recently.....the brake pedal goes too far forward than normal.....brakes are engaging like normal...things done
Changed master cylinder (3 to be precise).......issue not resolved
Bled the brakes a few times...........issue not resolved
Checked for any leaks......no leaks found
Checked brake pedal adjustment.......adjustment is OK
Changed brake pistons on the front wheels......issue not resolved

Now the mechanic has suggested to change the ABS assembly......I questioned him that if there is any issue with the assembly, ABS should not engage....ABS is engaging and braking is normal....only issue is that the pedal goes too far forward....the car is being driven as is, but it is a botheration when brakes need to be applied....your insight and help is requested please

Sir,I have problem with my mehran..it reduces water very quickly specially in summer as i filled water bottle attached to radiator in morning and in the evening it comes near about to empty.. I travel for my office daily which is approx 25 km from home (one way)..I have changed water bottle,radiator cap & also service radiator but prob is still there..although my car not heated very much its gauge slightly cross 50% & then remains almost near about 50%..one thing more i have noted water comes out from water bottle looks car is much heat up but actually its gauge not crossing above 50%..I had also changed water body last year in this case but prob is still there.

Aoa.. Once u told me that i should install a high speed radiator fan in my fx... I went to buy it so many people told me that i should only change the spades like u said of hyundai excel and keep the motor genuine as it is still working... What should i do now? Should i change the motor as well or just the spades?

Replace thermostatic valve.

Also do the following:

1) Get radiator hoses checked and replace if required.
2) Replace coolant.

the fan blade from the hyundai fan will not fit your fan motor and neither the shroud, its a very different setup. Get the whole item and use it as it is. Make sure to seal the edges of the shroud to the radiator to make sure the fan sucks in air "through" the radiator and not around it.

causes for such are

1 - overfilling of the bottle
2 - overheated coolant
3 - high pressure in cooling system
4 - faulty radiator cap or tiny leak in upper part of system causing air leak into cooling system, expanded coolant is getting there but not going back.

firstly, dont use plain water in cooling system as it severely damages it, secondly do a proper analysis and test the headgasket for damage or any other point of leakage.

how were the brakes flushed? was the pedal input piston from the booster checked?

Plz guide me. I ran my city 2009 model a 1000km. A few distance was covered @ 160km/hr without any heating problem. At the end of journey i observed reservoir bottle empty.
2. After some surface i opened the cap of engine block to observe steam or something, but what i observed was a pressure of air comming out of the cap.
I want to know wts the problem regarding point 1. Also as described in point 2 is this pressure normal, as my 660cc engine doesnot produce such pressure?
