Wet filter should never be blown with air coz it damages the filter element. The very question is “the physical appearance” of wet filter as it is usable even after trapping a lot of dust. Point of posting the pics is already mentioned.

I have used the same filter in isb for 10,000 km but right now i m in sindh and there is a lot of dust here. If i do not find a solid ref here i will reduce the interval to 5000km

air filters every oil change? last I read you were changing oil at 4000 kms, quite a waste of money, In khi I changed air filters for my cars once a year - Karachi is super dusty too.

that was close to 20,000 kms of running.

old careburettor engines required a more shorter interval as the air filters had smaller surface area - the later ones with larger area were good for 10,000 kms though.

Its a pretty large filter, good for a year easily

Quality of Air filter even of Guard is pathetic since last decade and it is must nowadays to change with oil change.
All 3S have also made it routine to change oil filter and air filter with each oil change.
Truly speaking, leave all, just open and visually inspect your air filter simply by your naked eye after 5,000 km yourself and then do whatever your heart says to continue it or change instantly

In Santro why there is same shape ECU in every car with different part#, same goes with TCU part# as every part No of TCU is representing 800cc, 1086cc & 1100cc engines. My car has 1000cc engine while its TCU is replaced with 800cc so is it allowed? what will happen in this situation. Please help and also see the attachment.
C07 part# 95440-02715 for 800cc engine
C09 part# 95440-02740 for 1000cc engine
C24 part# 95440-02765 for 1086cc engine
C15 part# 95440-02775 for 1100cc engine

Dear brother, i purchased 1szfe kabli engine.
from day one it is producing rattling sound on starting engine, and remain all the time. video of sound is here attached.

what is this sound, what is cure/solution?
my mechanic says it will go with the time, but i am not convinced, as i drove 800km, so if it is really a bad thing, is shop wala responsible for changing engine, or if i go for repair, what will be estimated cost?

use the correct one matched to your transmission and engine, the TCU takes info from ECU and shifts appropriately - smaller engine TCU will cause bad shift behaviour.

@Xulfiqar one more question sir.
the Vss. It's the high frequency hall effect sensor came in 04 k series 6 speed tranny. Want to know the sensor connector wiring. it got 3 pins. And does it work on VCC 5 volts or 12 volts from ignition. Some say 12v and some 5v.

Thanks just got it,
But picture wouldn't be helpful. It's a normal connector like IAC.
And the main problem was that different vss came depending upon year of manufacturing, having different connections whereas all look same.
02-04 has different, 05-08 has different, then RSX, Si etc have different pinouts.

Hello @Xulfiqar,
I am really stuck with breaks.
Vehical: Surf 1999 5vz
Problem: on breaking it is going toward left.
Left front wheel is also getting hot and feels bit jammed.
Actions taken so far:

Break pads replaced
Break oil flushed and poured new with proper bleeding
While flushing left front wheel also had slow flow of liquid
Break calippers changed. Problem was solved for 3k kms again apeared.
Later new oem calipper kit also installed
Tie rod, reck ends and ball joints also replaced
Bush for control arm also replaced
Hose pipe also replaced,but only for left side yesterday and problem has increased now.

Please tell me how to go about it, also refer me to some one who can diagnose and solve this problem in karachi..
