@Xulfiqar bro I changed engine oil on my car today (engine g10b 35k on odo engine oil zic x7000 apisl/cl4) I ordered engine oil from zic official online to make sure I get 100% genuine product but after oil change I didnt notice any change in engine sound (I believe engine get noisier after oil change) but it didnt

my question is did I end up with fake oil?

AOA Zulfiqar bhai.
I have bought a used Suzuki cultus efi 2014 with 94000 on the odo.(from my own hard earned money)
Engine is in very good shape.
No smoke no oil reduction.
Driven it 4000km still no issues.
The guy was using Zic X3 15w40 api Sj.
My father and our mechanic whom we have been going for last 30 yrs recommended me to use Zix X5 20w50 api sm.
I am using Zic X5 at the moment.
I want to ask should i continue using Api Sm.
Or use Sg( caltex havoline 20w50 api sg) or total quartz 3000.
As i have read in the forums that it has flat tappets which need ZDDP which is deficient in newer Api levels.
Kindly guide me i am very confused.
I want to use the car for a year (20000km).
The more forums i read the more confused i get.

X7000 is 10w40 with api Sl.

What is the viscosity grade for this oil?
like 10w-40, 15w-40 or 20w-50 etc ?

This is for Diesel cars. Check zic website

Zic x7000 is for Diesel Engines.
ZIC X7 is for petrol cars.

Check zic website and careful read category whether it is for Diesel or petrol

Xulfiqar Bha- I own corolla 2008, she runs her best without any problem. All of a sudden yesterday she emits all her radiator water from reservoir bottle excess coolant outlets. Now when I am pouring water in it, she is not throwing water nor making bubbles but when the fan automatically starts without ac on, she throws alot of water from radiator cap side and making steam.
Is thermostat value is bad?

Does EGR deleting give any better results w.r.t. cleaner engine and Cat Con? i have done this to my liana and Swift. car response and KMPL seems to have gone better. any comments?

yes that i what i have read on internet. EGR is basically in there to send back some of exhaust gasses back to combustion chamber. EGR delete means no exhaust gasses will enter and hence cleaner engine. plus more air means more O2 means better combustion resulting in better response and mileage. atleast that is what i think

The EGR is closed when car is cold, at idle or during hard acceleration.

Which engine oil (0w-30) is better between Castrol Magnatec and Zic? I know moly-liqui is best but its expensive. Can you guide selecting between Zic and Castrol? @Xulfiqar @tintin1
