I am buying car which I am seeing in my mohalla since ages.
Only issue is that due to rain water standing, print on tikli is almost disappeared in 40 years, only engine number and chassis numbers are visible as they r embossed. Rest all is silver plate

Now guide me what to do, insurance company also enquired that it is too old. Now suggest what to do, should I rewrite via pen or something as Tikli is main part in car price so don't want to disturb it whatever is present currently.
I am 200% sure about genuine Ness but what about others specially during check post
Please guide me urgently

Engraved on a plate is detoriating, that too something which is present under the hood.... Imagine what the rest of the car would be going through...

Yes it is readable and u can feel by your hand too like braille letters
But it also seems odd to me that no print is present due to this ageing issue
