Got it checked. It's been repaired fine. Apart from that entire wiring is genuine. Electrician thinks the flickering of lights may be due to battery going old and not being able to hold charge/voltage properly, and causing all of this stuff.

He just taped the tracker removed joints properly and asked me to drive it for a few days and check if the issue persists, then change the battery.

Petrol, for diesel lab, they use some fellow on ijp, i don't know his name, but works really well. Usually they just directly feed purge to the injectors and pump, that does the trick

Battery can easily be checked the devices available at shops. If a terminal grows loose, might have made sense, otherwise, with a functional generator, this should not happen

Hmm. Yeah, will check with a battery load tester to confirm if battery is at fault. Tho terminals were fine, alternator is working perfectly, and so was wiring.

What else should I check for these random restarts?

Something could be causing a short circuit

Wouldn't that have blown some fuse by now, all of the fuses were intact, we checked it.

Also the entire warning is genuine and sealed originally from company, where would short circuit happen if there are no joints or bare/naked wires?

@Xulfiqar I am facing a problem beyond my understanding and mechanics are trying to rip me off. I have a 2007 Honda IDSI Vario 115k Genuine on the meter. The car is working excellently but on Steap Mountains it gets hot I mean there is no sign but the water starts coming out of the bottle and the car never leaks water or reduces water and while giving throatle there are no bubbles. I mean there is no head gasket issue. In other words, gari back marti ha water bottle ma or paani girta ha. 1 guy says add coolant some say the radiator is faulty replace it. But no one tells me why the car can run 500km smoothly on a flat road and become problematic on steep mountains.

I have a Gli 2010.
Noise from front end in small potholes at slow speed.
I have inspected all the suspension.
Only the boots of Z links are broken.
No other boot is torn.
I wanted to replace z links only.
But the mechanic is saying to open whole suspension.
Should i get all suspension opened?
What type of grease should be used in steering racks while rebuilding?

Is the paper gasket enough to use with the new thermostat housing/flange?

The reason i dont want to use silicone or sealant is that itis hard to scrapeoff the residue once we need to reinstall the housing.

Question regarding inner CV joint. Civic 2005 225k kms driven.
I hear a clunk from left side while going even over minor road imperfections.
The clunk apparantely goes away while i am making a turn.
Shocks and boots are brand new
Checked the axle and I suspect its the inner CVJ thats never been replaced.

I can wiggle it up and down while reaching through the hood and it makes a slight mettalic sound. Is it the cause of that clunk or is it normal? cause all I know is a CVJ can move in and out but not up and down.
Also when I try to wiggle it with the wheels turned it doesnt wiggle.
The car doesnt vibrate on accelerating or clicks on full turns.

Any insights into this issue?

Hi I have mehran 2017. After engine wash it was not starting mechanic checked and said plugs were problematic he fixed them. After 2 days it started doing random missing. What could be the issue.

Update on this. I changed the battery, been a month and have driven around 1000-1200kms, the issue is solved.

One weird thing is gear shifts are smoother too after battery change, does the actuator draws charge/current while shifting @Xulfiqar?

I bought a corolla 2010 1 yr back.
Now the suspension is making noise.
I have got it checked from local Mechanics.
I live in Khushab(small city in Punjab).
The steering rack is installed of a Corolla e120(2005-2006 model hydraulic rack.
But as the car is EPS so there is no Hydaulic pump or any thing like that.
Now the question is should i get this steerinh rack rebuild or replace it with its orignal Steering rack?
Mechanics are saying that this steering rack will last longer as it was more durable than the stock Steering rack.
But i need Expert opinion on this.
It is not possible for me to go to Rawalpindi/Lahore for this purpose only as both are about 300km from my city.
