If someone is still wondering what these shot are about then here is the detail 
Hanging water balloons popped with needles.
When balloon is popped, the water holds its balloon shape for a fraction of a second which was attempted to be captured in these images by freezing the popping act.
This is variation of High Speed Photography since i didn't have a dedicated speed-light.

High ISO Noise Reduction: Off (This is important otherwise 3.7 fps cannot be done in M mode)
Shooting mode: Continuous
Metering: Spot
Focus: Manual
Exposure: Manual
Shutter: 1/200 and 1/125
ISO: 3200
Aperture: f3.5 and f2.8
focal length: 75mm
Balloons popped: 12
One hand on shutter button and other on the stick with needle at the front end to pop the balloons 
The purplish look was obtained by putting a torch on top left side with plastic ribbon on it 
Time to freeze the motion
