Attention 660cc car owners .denso a/c compressor related

Dear Friends,

Please do not get your car AC serviced (desi style) if its working all right.

Guys, AC systems are assembled in dust free envoirment and dust is killer for compressor. The way AC compressor, pipes and condenser are handled by "Ustad's" the system will surely die.

Just change the cabin filter, clean condenser with compressed air and evaporator washed every time you get your car serviced. Oil is only needed if it leaks.

I have 2003 Vitz, bought in 2006 for the past many years I have never had any problem.

so want to fit this 660cc compressor now roughly costs 2500 in shoba peshawar
any one can give me an idea how to check if comp is not worth it i am talking about kabuli 660cc comp on my 1000cc enigne
any advises would be appreciable

Bro, I am not sure but the mechanic tested the compressor by covering the pipes and spinning the pulley very fast . I think he was checking the pressure being built by the compressor.. As he denied 2 compressors after this pulley spin test.

Pulley being un-alligned is usually a case of after market A/C compressor of some other brand... But not sure if your pulley is Alligned with other pulleys or tilted at any side.. If its alligned and not spinning smoothly like it feels like (Raggar kha kar rotate ho rai hai) then you should check for the compressor bearing.. 2ndly if bearing is faulty then it should give sound as well... Echoing sound. in urdu its called (Goonj) aa rahi hai..

Its original DENSO and FF not aftermarket.....its gives a tuk tuk sound while rotating so compressor doesn't kicks in

today i took my car to ac mech and we took out comperessor it was dry not running jammed
then he just wanted to test my old comperessor with nd 8 oil as it was dry when it came out of car i already had bought a new sanden unit but he did not installed ran pully with oil and he turned the comp over for 30 mins or so and to every ones surprise original comperessor started working
he said why u spending new sanden for 7k lets install it and check if it does not work then new one will be installed
got that original comp in car testing for leaks and no leaks after that he filled gas and then it started cooling with Gas
Alhumdulillah oem comp in my alto started working
took it on motorway to check but cooling getting better and better
returned brand new comp and original one is working again with no sounds or load on engine

some time back went there complaint came for another vxr it has ac problem
mine was there just for tuneup and i went to saddar to collect new made no plates
i came back those idiots opened my cars ac for no reason as that alto was parked side by side with my car and coincidence same color
he was gusuhto
sir aap ne ac ka kaha tha ?? i was like WTF put this all back well in short they did not put oil in comperesor and bolted all stuff back so after an year or so comp was not working at all no cooling nothing made a huge noise when started
so got that all sorted

in mine EE100 1998 XE, there is Denso Ac compressor, Denso Evaporator, Denso Condenser and Denso Radiator and Both Fans are also made by Denso.

Amazing. But all these components along with Generator are made by denso.

Hi Guyz,

recently my 660cc alto lapin car make some noise on AC, i noticed that when i drive it on 80km some noise come from engine and ac start cooling and when this sound stops ac stop coiling and make car more faster. can you please guide me that is it a compressor issue ? if i need to change the compressor where from i get it & how much i have to pay for that.

THATS the sound of ac cltuch, no need to worry. maybe ac compressor clutch distance need to be adjusted.

I have civic 88 .
i installed VTI compressor in my car . AC working fine but Engine take to much load Whats the reason of this.
if i install 660cc Compressor in my car. So what will have its performance.
will this manage or not. my Mechanic suggest my Engine change solution ..... but i m confused

Great informative post, I have a 2016 Toyota Corolla Altis Grande, my AC guy informed compressor is dead needs to be changed, i find that very odd why such a short life? Can anyone shed light on the issue.
