for W2 its possible for them to give 3.5 score.
In my opinion, car cannot Solely be judged on the basis of grade score. So at the time of purchasing the car, Car Map is of greater importance then the score.
I have got verified auction sheet of my passo with 4.5 grade though the diggi was replaced XX. Other people have also seen and shared such auction sheets. Probably the reason is that these cars are insured in Japan and they change the part if there is a problem. The car gets grades if the problem was not due to accident. However if the car had accident the grade will be R or RA even though the part is painted or replaced. This is my understanding. Someone more knowledgeable can correct me.

It means that XX only means replaced and not accident. And replace can be due to any reason?
I think so. Those who are in this field can confirm or negate this. Otherwise how can a diggi XX can get 4.5 grade. Another explanation is that there are numerous Auction houses in Japan. some are very strict in grading and others are lenient
