Dear...what stops this car from falling into the category of Grade 4? I don't see any repair history on the auction sheet... it's just minor scratches all around which isn't a real big issue

No i mean.. i bought a passo few days ago with verified auction sheet. it has only a small scratch.. A1 on its left fender.. and the grade is 4.. while this auction sheet tells that this 660cc car has 16+ scratches.. some problem at its roof.. and Brokwn windscreen with stone. plus all the four sides are having dents + scraches. even foot board.. may be its Grade 4 just coz its 28K mileage .. rest i dont thik think that it deserves grade 4

Dear... your observations r correct and that's why we have this diagram for every auction sheet, otherwise people could have made judgements merely by numerical grading 5,4,3.. I don't disagree with the grading of this car. Any Grade 4 car can be a near grade 3.5 on the lower end and a near grade 4.5 on the higher end. We make judgements by seeing this diagram

Sir...in my opinion, a 28k driven car can't be put into grade 3 or 3.5 only because of many scratches.

Paint mark on roof... 2 A-4 deep scratch on 2 right doors needing repaint in that area...

Paint mark on roof is very minor and I agree that A4 is a deep scratch that needs paint but it still remains short of a dent. in my view this car has been given a grade 4 mainly because of its mileage... a mileage as low as 28k can't be overshadowed by scratches.. or as I said earlier it may be a grade 4 car just a dot above 3.5

i am getting a lot of queries these days about auction sheet verification. Verification of an auction sheet is usually not a difficult job, it can be easily done if the car is within 3 months from the date of purchase in japan. There are a lot of websites where you can enter the lot number and verify your auction sheet. But the problem comes when the auction sheet is more than 3 months old. Mostly dealer and importers gives u this excuse that the auction sheet is more than three months old and cannot be verified. I am not saying that they lie everytime, but some times they do. It is usually an easy excuse to make the customer buy the car without verification.

But guyz i will start a new service, Here i ll verify all auction sheets weather they are 3 months old or more than three months old. Mostly when the auction sheet is tampered the lot numbers are changed, so all u have to do is tell me the Chasis number of the car and the make and model of the car, Just like for vitz u have to tell me

Thats a 3.5 grade car mileage at the time of import was 41000Km.
