Aoa bro... The dealers usually hide the auction sheets or provide the fake one... As auction sheet is not required for registration of car, the innocent buyers are betrayed in this way... Dealers usually import accidented or lower grades cars and after repair, sale them in market....

Next time you have to buy JDM, try to import thru a trusted importer... Only downside is wait of 8 weeks, but u will be knowing what u are getting... Or in case of haste, buy cars with verifiable auction sheets from local market...

i am getting a lot of queries these days about auction sheet verification. Verification of an auction sheet is usually not a difficult job, it can be easily done if the car is within 3 months from the date of purchase in japan. There are a lot of websites where you can enter the lot number and verify your auction sheet. But the problem comes when the auction sheet is more than 3 months old. Mostly dealer and importers gives u this excuse that the auction sheet is more than three months old and cannot be verified. I am not saying that they lie everytime, but some times they do. It is usually an easy excuse to make the customer buy the car without verification.

But guyz i will start a new service, Here i ll verify all auction sheets weather they are 3 months old or more than three months old. Mostly when the auction sheet is tampered the lot numbers are changed, so all u have to do is tell me the Chasis number of the car and the make and model of the car, Just like for vitz u have to tell me
