Audi A7 Launched in India

The two pics above were taken by an Audi employee for me with my N95 phonecam at last year's New Delhi Auto Show and i really didn't register the rear design till i saw the A7 in pics. And, i thought that this car was the new A8 concept!!. Anyways, the new A7 will be on display at the Chennai Audi dealers next week and i shall bring you a report in my "What's New..." thread.

No one was asking you standard rupee symbol in india which actually happens to be called INR

and if you multiply 85 with 60,000 , you get 5100000, which is 5.1 million in PKR

I did, and here's the explanation...

1 (one) US $ = approximately 85 (eighty five) Pakistani rupees (PKR)

Therefore, the base price of $60,000 in the US is equivalent to about 5.1 million (51 lakh) Pakistani rupees. The guy was just trying to point out how inexpensive the A7 is in the US compared to what it would be in Pakistan.

The A7 in India, starts at about 7.5 million (or 75 lakh INR), which when converted to Pakistani currency, works out to about 1,41,87570 PKR, or nearly about 1.5 crore PKR. Of course, this type of direct conversion makes no sense given the PPP model, the duty structure of both countries etc.
