The Audi Q7 is a spectacular car and I could care less what you think. You can go drive your Mehran and I'll go drive my Audi Q7. It's ok, we can have differing opinions. The difference between me and you is, that I did my own comparisons and put my money where my mouth is - by buying myself a Q7.

The ML and X5 are trash and the base Cayenne is overrated. The Q7 doesn't need a hyped up brand name to sell itself. It speaks for itself and the global success of the Q7 is proof of it.

P.S. Have you ever driven a Mercedes, BMW or Porsche to feel entitled enough to falsely praise their SUVs?

I have driven and by driven meaning owned the three you mentioned and i say audi sucks. There cars and suv's are overated volkswagens. How can you say that you love the q7 but hate the cayenne? you do know that they have the same basic design right?

Hey FIA,

I never said the Cayenne sucked. I said it is a)too expensive b)the base model is overrated.

When we're comparing the ML, X5, Cayenne and Q7 as a purchase and less as a thing to falsely "boast" - the Q7 comes out as the most sensible. And im not the only person that thinks that. Here's a review from AutoBild..

I'm not saying the Q7 is the BEST SUV money can buy - it's just the smartest choice from the options FZS brought up.

The Audi Q7 3.0 TDI versions for Pakistan start from around 7.0 Million and then obviously sky is the limit. A nice fairly loaded one should cost round about 7.9 to 8.1 million depending on the Euro rate. Th Euro has hit an all time high and is on the steep hill to success which becomes kind of sad for markets like pakistan cause most German brands except Mercedes Benz deals in Euros so the Premium leaders need to be careful with what options to order.

The reason why the vehicles available in stock look basic is because no body kits have been ordered for them. If we start putting 18 or 19 Inch on each stock vehicle the price will shoot through the roof and no one will buy them then.

See the thing is Germans are too smart. Even if they do give good Base prices to their imprters in Pakistan, the option prices will make enough profit... For example the electric seats, multi functional steering and xenon lights are all options while every where else in the world these options and much more are all standard....

Anyways i have worked with BMW, MINI and now Audi so i have a pretty good idea on how to differentiate between the models, drive etc...

i was reading the posts and i read some one say that why buy an audi when Mercedese and BMW are available
well Mercedese and BMW has been ruled out by audi Ages ago

The VW group are the new giants of the world and they own Most of the TOP Knotch cars starting from Bugatti to Lambo all of it is owned by the VW group

Mercedese was history BMW was ruined by stupid american desgigners only thing that is ruling the world is The VW Group well most there cant know cause since pak is overshadowed by SUZUKI TOYOTA and HONDA but if u ever get a chance visit somewhere else and try noticing why most use an Audi to show up at awards other than a Mercedese

fia, you have taken a very hard line stand against Q7. Why is that? The Quattro system is a marvelous piece of engineering and has nothing to do with Volkswagen. We bought a Q7 after testing most other AWD SUVs including X5. We have a home in Wisconsin and needed a vehicle that could handle the weather conditions there. Q7 was by far the most enjoyable vehicle when the ground was frozen and there was an inch or so of snow on the roadways.

Also, with the upcoming Q7 V12 TDi, there is nothing in the market that even comes close to its performance numbers. Technology deployed in this SUV is a world apart from all other German automakers.
