friends today i got new alpine cd player (with usb and aux features) fixed in my cuore.
I am facing some problems now, see the pics below and answer my queries plz:
Old cassette player, the shop wala refused to buy it, what to do now? I wanna sale it.

new player, here you can see that since the pocket has single screw at its back so it moves up and down i.e. Its not fixed, in the picture you can see the screw drive below and above pocket, question is how to fix this? How to fill this gap??????

there is also space at rite and left side of new tuner, question is will it remain as it is??

new pocket, its useless for me, question, what should i do with it?

i tried to connect phone through usb port to play songs, but with phone usb cable there is "usb error", but it works properly with a normal usb. whats the problem??
I haven't checked aux port till now.
Kindly answer for my questions.

tape the pocket to the player. make sure the shop wala uses all screws to hold the player in place.

as for the phone to usb, the player does not support ipod or phone connection. use a usb flash drive

Hi everyone, can anyone suggest me some good (not very good ) 6" speakers..brand and the price would be very helpful...and specially if you can suggest some good place to get those from in Islamabad, that would be wonderful.

The care is old 2006 Altis, it has door speakers (all for doors) ...dont want to add on the back...just wanted to replace the ones that came in doors.

O yar, with tape that area will look not good.
yes all screws have been used, since there is single hole in pocket so it moves up and down (the screw acts like hinge)
newer cuore have a built in CD player, can any one share pic of same area from dashboard? I mean how that area is properly covered in newer models.??

u tape the back of the pre and pocket together. just wrap the tape around the body of the pre and the pocket. it wont be visible from anywhere..

what is your budget? specify the max you are willing to spend on the speakers

Focal has some nice 6" speakers in your price range. check em out. waisay why dont u go for speakers in front?

u can get the front surround panel that fits onto the pre and fills the gaps on sides of the pre. take a look at the 2 pics

the panel and the pre are taped from the back. once that is done u then put it back into the console. if theyr are additional gaps, u can easily fill it with black/grey jambolen foam after u cut it and squeez it into the gap.

if u can do a diy and with patience, cut a metal or plastic piece and glue/depoxi it with the steel panel, put in the pre and put all of it into the console.

that pre with sub-woofer option should be preferred.

so my question is how the wiring will be separate for
speakers / Woofers when mine Amplifier has just one RCA in put??

that would mean u have a 2-channel amp or possibly a mono. What is the brand and model number of the amplifier?

u can always use y-splitters RCA cables in this case.

Guys need help! I have 12k (max 15k) in hand. Need a good sound system with speakers, amp, RCA cables and a woofer. I have a Panasonic CD/USB/AUX which comes in new Corolla XLi in almost brand new condition. The car I am talking about is new Mehran without CNG. I can buy used items and can compromise woofer but I need good sound with bass and clearity just for daily listening.

Its a 2 channel amp and by one RC you probably mean two inputs with left and right configuration

Hi guys. Thanks for all the details. I tried to gather them, but its too exhaustive and difficult to spend the time on research.

My simple request: Please suggest a decent quality speaker/amp combination for my Liana.

I am interested in front Components plus rear Coaxials. Need focus on quality and soundstage. Bass is not a major requirement, but may add a subwoofer later.

I have checked 718 + Sony and JVC Components. 7500+5000=12500. Add around 5000 for amp. Total budget around 17500.

Looking forward to some SQ suggestions

its basically the enclosure that houses the sub-woofer. they can be of different specs depending on the sub-woofer and listening environment to be achieved.

types: Sealed, Round ported, L-ported, bandpass etc

each of the box will give u a different response from your subwoofer.
