Helix Precision H400X

Mosconi Gladen 4to6 DSP

It's simple math. A 2 way front component setup + sub stage and you are good to go with a 6 channel output dsp. That being said, I'm still waiting for a few other goodies which includes another dsp. In the mean time, this little badass Italian processor will work just fine

A PET fleece tape with a solvent-free rubber adhesive, mainly used for wire harness covering in the passenger compartment. It combines important features such as noise damping and abrasion resistance while keeping harnesses flexible and is tear and aging resistant

The product will be used on all speaker and RCA cinch cables to protect and isolate them

AlexTech Expandable Braided Sleeving

Expandable PET braided wiring sleeve made specifically to protect and prolong the life of automotive wiring. The sleeving can expand by upto 50% its original size and is suitable for use between -75*C all the way upto 125*C with a melting point of ~230*C

Both the 1/2" and 3/4" sleeving will be used to protect the 0,2 and 4 AWG wiring that will be used in this setup

Can we find these in Pakistan especially in lahore??

I'm not sure if you can find the same brands but aliexpress has the same type of fleece tape and braided sleeving from other brands. Most of these are made in china anyways and you can simply just order them from there. Regarding availability in Pakistan or Lahore, I'm not too sure. You'd have to really look around but I doubt anyone stocks these. It's the same old electrical tape being used by everyone

Getting the A-pillars ready. There were a few small imperfections so had to get these sorted out before the a pillars are reupholstered

Also had the A pillars lined with deadener + CCF to minimise unwanted noise which could interfere with the output from the Helix P1 tweeters

Introducing the Helix DPC 1000 Smart Cap with built in Voltage Display, extremly low internal resistance (1 mΩ), Auto start / soft start function, gold plated terminal screws and overvoltage protection

Running some temporarily 4 gauge Tsunami OFC Wire for the BIG3 until the 0 gauge arrives. Familiarising myself with installing the wires with the braiding + heatshring.

To achieve a great chemical bond, I also melted some solder into the crimp itself with the copper strands

Amplification: Sub Stage

Mosconi Gladen AS100.2

I had the option to go for either the Steg K2 or the Mosconi AS100.2. Was getting both in almost the same price too but went with the AS100.2 because I just always admired the design. Both of them are great amps coming out of Italy but for now, the AS100.2 will partner up with the Helix H400x

I think you may have gone overboard with damping the floor. it does get wet if the car goes through deep water, and then moisture may become hard to remove.

A few points to note

1) This may be my daily but it isn't an abused daily. So driving it through deep water isn't something I plan on doing

2) God forbid I am in a situation where I have to, the Dampening sheet and the ccf are both completely waterproof. All the original grommets that were in the floor are still accessible since the Dampening sheet is cut around them. The same is with CCF which was cut around the grommets and then the cutout piece was stuck over the grommets themselves

3) This is why we don't use open cell foam on the floor. The messed up thing is, the factory deadening foam ( namda ) is actually open cell foam. If your car does flood, that's the material that will absorb water. At the end of the day if my car does get flooded, its not going to be the deadening sheet and ccf that will cause the issue, its still the factory namda and carpet that will need to be taken out to dry

The A pillars are done finally. I might add a few add-ons later but this is how it will look pretty much from now on

Fun little detail while working on the car. IMC are kind enough to provide us with this small piece of foam inside the b-pillar at the base to act as a sound absorber LoL. That is it

The inside and outer sheet were lined with the deadener and CCF. The base where the foam was stuffed was first lined with a piece of CCF, then a piece of the leftover namda (open cell in green) and finally stuffed with the foam
