Automatic Cuore Distributor

Its a simple pulse generator, that too vrs design. What sort of mechanics is the poster visiting that they cannot understand it.

Are most shops looking at the distributor as one part?

let me tell you the complete background. car was running on CNG for almost 7,8 months and was giving perfect average. i decided to also set it up on petrol but it was not starting on petrol. i took it to mechanic he told me its fuel pump is dead bcz car have not used petrol for months. its fuel pump was changed and car started to run on petrol but there was missing. mechanic told me to keep it runnung on petrol for some days. after 2,3 months consistant running on petrol missing was still there. mechanic after few days asked me to change the ignition coil but the missing was still there it was taking jerks on petrol , then mechanic asked me to change plug wires but there was still missing on petrol as compared to CNG. after changing plug wires, fuel pump, ignition coil missing was still there. he asked me to change the distributor now. but i fefused and take it to another mechanic he clean injectors, clean distributor but the missing was still there. what he did he close the second fuel pipe that goes back to fuel tank and also change the petrol control sensor and installed petrol controlling sensor of Balleno. now what is happening car is running like a rocket on petrol but only giving me 5, 6 KM average. He told me that his computer is generating only 1 pulse if you change its computer it will give you 17, 18 KM average and will also run fine

the problem is this
if you mean the purge valve as petrol controlling sensor.?

vehicle must be running insanely RICH

i will share the pic of that sensor with you tomorrow. i have googled purge valve and i think you are right i am talking about this sensor. So what will be the cost of this sensor? and from where i can get this for Dihatsu Cuore?

He means the fuel pressure regulator on end of fuel rail as he also mentioned blocking fuel return pipe,

We can safely assume right now that his fuel pressure is 80 psi instead of the required 45 psi. (Pump max output) as hes blocked return.

Obviously hes visiting idiots with tools.

The problem was never ignition but fuel as he now replies after lots of inquiry about distributor etc.

any recommendation where i can find that fuel pressure regulator and also any sensible electrician for it???

it use to give me 15-18 KM/Litre earlier on petrol.

the fuel pressure regulator is a mechanical part, it would be a bit difficult to get for your car as your car is a japanese orphan import.

You also had the injectors cleaned which damages them.

I would suggest to find a replacement fuel pressure regulator from somewhere and test fuel pressure, But as everything is shut - you will have to wait.

You also will have to change the upstream oxygen sensor with a brand new part if its damaged or tired, dont install scrapyard part.

the problem is to find mechanic capable enough to deal with it and also the availability of upstream oxygen sensor and fuel pressure regulator for EFI cuore

This is a map sensor,

it was faulty. mechanic changed it and installed this one of Baleno. now the car is not misfiring and no jerks but extremely poor fuel average 4/5 KM per litre.

How was it diagnosed as faulty.

You need a blue sticker map sensor btw, not this green one.

it was diagnosed faulty by the mechanic i took my car to. He said i tried to replace the MAP sensor with the original one for cuore but due to unavailability i replaced with Baleno one and handed over the previos sensor to me.

How did he deduce it was faulty?

Did a test with a vacuum pump and saw the reading?

Or just went with "ye wala code hai"?

actual brother he was recommended by my cousin. I gave him car and took it back after 2 days. now i am planning to get my car checked from any efi electrician who can scan its computer to check the actual problem
