to my understanding of this thread,
Pak Suzuki deposited the ST at the applicable rate at time of booking., i.e as per law.
at time of delivery the tax rate was reduced.
it is highly unethical of member @abdulmajidqureshi to accuse a multinational car manufacturer for bungling with end user. There are hundreds of vehicles delivered in the same way under the invoicing process. As an individual you managed to catch the taxing figures and raised the query. It is your right as citizen. However, as an individual creating a topic with such false accusation over a free public forum leads no where. (you can read & see war about honda toyota suzuki all over this forum with zero result and threads disappear after a while)
You as the buyer and end user, demand for excess payment of tax refund is genuine, however again the refund is only possible under court instructions. In this case buyer & end user is same so the refund is applicable.
law came into action and the FBR is 'instructed" to process refund in 45 days time.
Implementation & execution of a court order is most sensitive issue in Pakistan, since 1995., it has become more dysfunctional since 18th amendment.
however to process paper work and corrected invoice issuance, re-registration of vehicle will be more time consuming and would cost almost equivalent or more of refund amount.
I recommend to member @hariskhan1989 to restrain aggressive sarcastic approach while addressing other member(s) please. getting personal & targeting an individual over keyboard and an screen is not decent humanly attitude.
