Random maintenance of my santro's phoenix saada Khushboo battery. Gave it a 3 day boost charge and it restored it's gravity and standby voltage to just like new battery and Alhamdulillah it has been performing really well and completed 3 years & 3 months time.
Applied grease on the terminals and installed it back

Thanks for sharing your experience it's really helpful to know about the recent decline in Volta’s battery quality. I've had a similar situation with a different brand, so I can relate.

For your Honda City 2008, I’d recommend looking into AGS or Exide. AGS GL-50 or Exide NS40Z are commonly used and have a solid reputation for durability and consistent performance. AGS, in particular, seems to offer better cold start reliability, which can be handy depending on your usage and climate.

If you’re open to maintenance-free options, Osaka MF or Phoenix MF are also worth considering they’re a bit more expensive but save you the hassle of regular water top-ups.

Thanks for acknowledging the valuable insights shared by pakwheelers in this thread especially the valuable hands on experience of Mr. Xulfiqar who is always supportive of installing a saada Khushboo lead acid battery with pure sulphuric acid and distilled /deionized water.
i am also supportive of Old tech geek Mr. Xulfiqar"s idea of installing a conventional LA battery rather than an MF battery for so many technical reasons as MF battery could fail early if not taken care of properly

Considering the brand phoenix MF is far better in quality than Osaka as I have said goodbye to Osaka/Volta.

Yes I have AGS Hybrid LA battery installed in my Honda city and it has been performing really well for last 2 years. No issues so far.

Just a query to ask that how come you boost its charge? using an aftermarket battery charger?
I am after going through this complete thread have moved to Phoneix, using USG 210 for UPS backup and using 2 batteries of XP 100R for Khursheed Fans.

You need any 4 stage charger giving bulk, absorption, float, and equalization charge. I have been using a 100A server computer power supply as a battery charger. It's really good in picking up battery charge.
Great to know you have been using phoenix battery for UPS.
Phoenix batteries are really good so far to my experience Alhamdulillah
