How do you wash engine bay any precautions ? and do you recommend oil spray on engine bay which many do after wash ?

Used to get engine bay washed from service station, but no more and no oil shoukd be used to wash engine bay. After about a month I use a blower to bliw of dust and occasionally use a paint brush. Also use fine mist of waterless wash and wipe it off with microfiber towels.

Down the road I will use engine degreaser and wash it down with normal garden hose.

Washing from service station does not normally cause any issues. I have been doing it without covering ECU or generator, but now I sm just becoming more careful.

Ech20 is a multipurpose concentrate with which you can make waterless wash, clay lube and detailing spray. Available from Ahmad Yar in Lahore.

A fellow pakwheeler told me on Facebook that super whites now a days from IMC are not that perfectly finished . I witnessed over spray and loads of orange peel too while booking it. Also as you prescribed the rough surface and the level of gloss is not at par as you outcame with. Is it true in your case when car was delivered?

I have had the pleasure of driving this car & all I can say once u driven it your left amazed at the improvement and in true meaning it’s a FL not just cosmetic but inside also the drive suspension all improved which is what a FL is meant to be!

Today updated the infotainment to version 10. It was running on ver 9 and volume control became erratic sometimes. Have not tested it much, but from dealership to office it worked fine. Will sign in Google Play, load apps and then observe.

Dear sir I also have a freezing problem in my grande infotainment system the dealer offered me to change the Hu plz guide me I changed it because in Hyderabad not have any update software available. Today I receive the call from dealership The Hu is arrived in showroom

I was pretty much sure that this is a petty issue which will be eventually taken care off and here it is.

Same thing was present in Civic which is fine and not needed even a single reset after firmware upgrade.

No. I called the guy, he was at Toyota Capital waiting for some other customers. The version 9 update I got from him was at Toyota Islamabad. Both outside dealerships, in parking lot. It take about 10 minutes.

Check which version it is running? The dealership technicians are too illiterate, he could have asked the vendor to send a microsd card containing update.

Some member told me that since there was no dealership in his area, the vendor mailed him the microsd card and he updated the HU himself.
