No sir. The main parts like engine, transmission are not even touched by IMC. I wish Pak had gotten so advanced that we started making such robust car engines like the corollas have. 
And these cars will likely work even if you throw sand in them.
Why stick to generations old ultra thick oils like w50 when so much better is now available and actually used throughout the world? Locally too, been using 0w20 and 5w30 with great results.
Local dealers used to use thick 50 oils, but now even local Honda n Toyota dealers officially put 20 and 30 grade oils. Just ask Yaris, Civic, Corolla owners.
Grade 50 might not harm your engine immediately like I said, but has more chances of harm as it flows very slow.
why take the risk.
Itâs like someone intentionally wanting to use an old window AC when so much better inverter ACs are available.
