Yesterday booked Grande CVTi, Alhamdolillah and very happy over my decision which was made very easy after physically seeing the new Civic.

Delivery in Sept. Colour Super White.

Congratulations autophile I personally love the grande though I am a civic fan.
Super white is a beast color

Btw what is CVTi and I heard grande has both automatic and manual gears is it true? And how does it work? Does any other Pkdm car has both Auto and Manual

I am still confused over corolla and civic. This will be the ride I will be using for next 5 6 years and selling it isn't an option for me. So kindly brief me thoroughly what made you go for grande. I feel rear height is bit to high and as it will be used on highways a lot I feel the grip will not be enough and that it might roll over if care has not been taken. On the other hand civic is expensive and rear seating is little bit congested. That middle hump is a great concern for me as everyone is quite tall Mashallah in our family.

Congrats! considering the current scenario i think it was the best choice and value for money. You can always buy civic some time later when dust settles and things are looking better quality wise. First model always has a lot of flaws. The mid life refresh version of civic will be a far far better choice

Thank you. Yes this is safe to check Grande now and see what Civic gets in facelift after three years and how does turbo fare and then go for it.

Thanks Corolla's CVTi has both automatic and manual mode. Just put in in M and upshift or down shift 7 gears. On Grande there are pedal shifters on the steering to change gears and it is very helpful. CvTi does not have actual gears, but these manual controls give same gear ratio effects.

There are no stability issues with Grande when you will travel with family with luggage, it will not be high from the rear. Plus Grande has flat floor and reclining seats which is so comfortable for rear passengers on long journeys. Civic will torture rear passengers esp three passengers due to the huge hump.If you want a practical, durable, reliable, comfortable car go for Grande. If you want to impress others, but suffer inside, go for Civic.

Brother, I have already booked Grande. Saw Civic and apart from new shape it has no attraction. Rear floor has a huge hump in the middle. Overall so many quality and build quality issue I have seen myself in new Civic. Grande offers more in the price and is the king of Pakistani roads from Khunjrab to Karachi and Gawadar.
