I am not comparing the output here. Of course 1.6L engine is more powerful than 1.3L
I am talking about a particular sound which comes from the muffler of Xli/Gli when you floor it. I think its not the engine, they are using different mufflers for 1.3L and 1.6L

Great. But the sound of Xli/Gli, when you floor it, is too good. That's missing in 1.6L variant.

Can we have that type of exhaust which can be tuned, like when going to office we can tune it to produce decent sound and at night when we want little fun we can change the sound?

^^ There is an exhaust system known as 'Varex X Force Adjustable Exhaust Muffler'. It has remote control just like keyless entry and you can adjust it's butterfly valve according to your need while sitting in car. Video is available on DM. It's really an epic system. But I guess its not available in Pakistan.
Once I saw it's price on ebay, it costs really heavy sum, not sure but I think its 50k+.

Once I saw a desi jugaar too, i.e, I saw a Mehran with too exhausts at a time, one was stock other was loud, I think its was manually adjusted exhaust or something like that.

There are tunable exhausts available everywhere. My friend imported the electronically controlled exhaust from china which costed him 15000rs.

i had been following the thread quietly for quite sometime now.

i intended to get an aspire 1.5 prosmatic. however my opinion shifted due to hornet and your car in favour of corolla and more importantly due to navy blue color availability in corolla which is my favorite.

yesterday i went to toyota capital and they told me that there is wait of around 2-3 months for 1.6 corolla. so earliest expected date if i book now would be end sep probably.

the important thing i want to mention here is that i recently installed AC in my mehran and used a multiflow condensor bought from market whose quality was not good at all and when i saw corolla with a critical eye yesterday similar condensor was installed in it too. this just got me thinking since being a pakistan assembled car unfortunately they might be using some very low grade materials and un reliable parts as well.

i have asked a friend to check the availbility of a prius now and will decide accordingly. your feed back on the concern mentioned above will be highly appreciated.

Bro also put in some better floor mats. they are too low grade which you are using currently. use some good mats probably made by gray and black fabric.

I don't know which part are u talking about. There was not a single issue with the AC of my 9th Gen and it gave 10 years of chilled service.

These are high quality plastic mats. The original Toyota carpet mats are underneath. I hate carpet mats they are dust magnets and cause respiratory problems.

hmm... they keep the area clean and hence prevent it from rust and corrosion in long run. [unless you wash your car every day and keep that area mud and moisture free]

No they don't. Mud flaps kay saath bhee dirt aatee ha, so I am better without them. Have you seen any JDM with mudflaps btw ?

Japan mein itni zarkhezz mitti kahan? Well I think you're right, mudflaps aren't that effective besides they'll just look a bit off on the 11th gen.
