Many thanks. I will try to answer your questions in the order asked
1. How is the performance of Back view camera especially at night. Would appreciate some pics supporting your reply?
Can't say about it right now as have not driven my car much also I have no reference point as I have not used any rear view cam before, so i cannot say it's good or bad. I found day time view much better and in pitch dark there was a lot of noise. It helped me a bit to reverse in a crowded parking light with many cars parked and idling with full lights on.
2. Considering the fact that majority of the population falls in non-filer category, thus requiring to pay 1 Lakh advance tax on purchase of 1.6 variant, how do you see Altis 1.6 from resale point of you?
If people can pay one lakh advance tax for Suzuki Swift, why not for 1.6? People happily pay nearly two lakhs on or premium, this WHT is nothing for them.
I am not sure about Altis resale. Obviously it is lesser than Gli/Xli. I drove a 1.3 for 10 years and now I wanted automatic car with a bigger engine, so I am not much bothered about the resale factor.
3. Besides trust on Allaah and insurance, what other physical protective measures have you taken or plan to take to ensure safety of your car?
Are there other measures ?
Many thanks and Aameen
It was my second experience to take out a brand new Corolla from Toyota Islamabad. I just asked the rep to go through the checklist, checked ac, lights, switches. Had a look at all the panels, lights, engine bay, trunk, wheels, foot boards, doors linings, welds, paint work. All seemed ok, so signed the sheet, collected the papers and drove off.
In nut shell did not dissect it because it felt ok.
