Well for me and other 1.6 owners it's worth it, otherwise Gli A/T has lot of satisfied customers..

1.6 1ZR-FE is fun to drive. You push the gas pedal a bit and it comes to life. The joy is priceless. Gli AT lacks that PUNCH, so a few extra bucks are justified. Value for money.

@autophile I know you are a big fan of EuroStar Tires am sure you have your reasons, no doubt they are good tires, just wanna to share my experience of changing tires to other brand.
Today I have changed my car tires to "Advan Db", driving experience has totally changed.. So far I have noticed that steering response has improved a lot. Braking has also improved.
Believe me car feels very light now, I can feel the road.. It feels like there was a heavy load on suspension, which isn't there anymore..
Another thing which I have noticed is that Eurostars perform much better on bumps and pot holes but they are very heavy because of Their heaviness, steering response almost dies, that's my personal experience might be wrong, I would still prefer better handling and steering response which comes from yoko's.
Anyways let's see how it performs further down the lane.

Eurostars are the crap that should be changed immediately, it really degrades the driving pleasure and comfort of the ride. I still remember when we received our 9th gen civic, my father drove it from Honda Gateway to our home and he was really disappointed with the ride, he said PKDM is nothing in front of JDM and we made a wrong decision choosing 9th gen [emoji14] then after changing tires his views completely changed and since then no more eurostars

I thought the same way as your father did but yesterday after changing the tire my review about this car has started to change..

I see no issues with Euros at all and my experience with them spans over a decade in all road conditions and terrains of Pakistan.

you had same model as mine 2005-06 this car is real workhorse
and have less road grip so tires are not effective on it
no matter which tires u install
i have installed dunlop lm 03 previous it had sp sports and before that it had generals
i dont feel any difference but like i had cultus alto swift etc etc they are not like corolla 9th gen
you will have to install better tires to experience yourself the difference

Yes the difference is there but not that much and when there is no problem in terms of durability, drive and road grip etc. then I do not feel any need to change. That's my personal take and it is based on my experience over different cars. I am not just speaking about my previous 9th Gen, but the 10 Gen Corolla at my office on which we do field work across Pakistan, in cities, towns, villages and dirt tracks.

Question about navigation; which of the navigation maps are you using currently? Also can you kindly let me know what maps need to be donwloaded from navigator free website? Is the stock unit for altis 1.6 windows based? What is your feedback for the navigator free maps? Or navitel maps for that matter.

I am using Sygic maps. Did not use navigator free maps much. Yes it is windows based. Navitel I have not used, but it's licenced microSd is available for 3,000 rupees (scroll above for details). I might purchase that one.

And if i may ask where did you get sygic maps from? Actually i want to implement this navigation thing on our family altis so looking at options. Have you done any research on navitel maps? Are they worth it?

No research on Navitel yet. Someone has also sent me IGo, but I have not yet been able to test it. I am sending you a PM about Sygic.
