Not very much. I only wash it when it gets dirtied in rain. Otherwise clean it with waterless wash once a week.

How do they align the headlights in day time? Do they have headlight adjustment machine?

No need of machine. You can do at home old school way, facing a wall. There is no strong light inside workshop so they do it there. There are markings on the lights casings.

Now Toyota has also started enforcing kilometers or three months whichever comes first rule. I still believe we should follow kms rule. I have experienced during the 10 years that it does not harm the engine if you change the oil even after six months. I used to do it for years as my daily run was just 20 kms max.

No it does not. they only recommend it to use Toyota oil.

My one friend was telling me Toyota oil 5w 50 and oil filter total is 5000 . so they have different types of oil

Warranty is void to the extent that they would charge if the fault is attributed to lubricants.

I don't know. Just asked the service advisor to tell me item wise what they would do and what they would charge for 10k kms svc.

I told him not to do the "tuning" because it was done at 5K and an efi does not need "tuning", he said it was part of the 10k kms svc and also throttle cleaning plus brake service and total charges for 10k kms svc would be 2,500 rs.

I drove my previous 9th Gen for 134,000 kms and never let them do "tuning" 'throttle body" or "injector cleaning" and the car never gave me any problem and engine feel and look was just like new even after 10 year.
