previous AGS CNG 60 lasted four years (i replaced with new one as precaution otherwise wasnt giving any problem)...current one completed one year and as good as new

AGS is the best battery in the market.

Excide and Volta are crap.

AGS battery in my charade lasted three years. Was still quarter sulf start when I sold the car.

In my Nissan, it's been over a year now. I also installed AGS in my dad's car, and has lasted a year and half so far (previously, excide battery in his car only lasted six months).

If maintained properly it easily last 6 years. In my case yes 6 long years, but these were prepared with distilled water and lab graded acid. It was checked on weekly basis for water. Never let it dry and only added distilled water.
One of main factor is all my cars are on genuine wiring, not a single alteration. We also lube the battery terminals with grease. Still we have genuine copper battery connectors. Not yellow brass one. They also play their part in ruining batteries.

Some of you might not take my battery life seriously, but I have seen people running after car batteries every year or so. But my case is different from most of you guys.

Using AGS in two of my cars and Exide in one.... life till today is:
>AGS GL-65(Mfg Date: 2008 ) = 6 years.
>AGS GL-50(Mfg Date: 2011) = 3 years.
>Exide CNG-48L(Mfg Date: 2011) = 3 years.
All are still going strong...

if u have tracker installed alongwith a heavy music system like bluetooth dvd player, amps and subwoofer even AGS wont last more than 18 months.. thats my personal experience Same battery when installed in other car which does not have tracker and heavy music system lasts 2-3 yrs

I have tracker and a heavy sound system installed in my car. its been 3.5 years with AGS and still its going strong

As Omron posted, good input = good output.

good electrolyte = long life
bad electrolyte = short life.

Sharing my experience ,i hav 2010 Corolla Gli equipped with stock AGS battery ,after market GPS navigation, Kenwood Amp of 1000 Watts+ 2 front components + 2 rear Kenwood speakers 718 ,all mentioned things were installed since the day one & still AGS is alive

my experience....2011 start model swift...basic AGS battery..running in it..30000k 55 watt hids..8000k 55 watts heads...1500 watts mono block amp..2300 watts china amp...2 pioneer 1200 watts subs...neons ......MAA SHAA ALLAH..still running strong....tips keep the water full..

Use 'distilled water', it does not contain minerals that we need in drinking water. Do not use mineral water (nestle kinley etc).

Nestle 19litre water bottle is filtered water not mineral.
