When we are talking about Toyota or Honda!!! Then all should must KNOW that there is no compare of these Two Brands with SUZUKI.

In the Whole World there is no such debate!!!!!

It is just a Foolish compare and this is only in Pakistan.... - Not even in India.

Toyota Yaris / Vitz CONTINUOUSLY wins the MOST TOP OF THE LINE AWARD "INTERNATIONAL ENGINE OF THE YEAR" SINCE 2007 TILL 2010.

Kindly check and you all will found from the below link of "Wikipedia" that Suzuki never wins such International Title for any of its cars i.e. : Cultus, Swift, Liana or Jimny...

If you check the below mentioned link you will also found that when we talk about Toyota .. then the compare will only with Honda or VolksWagen and you will check that only following companies wins this International Award:

Mercedes
BMW
Audi
Porsche
Toyota
Honda
Subaru

I think you are ignorant of some facts, there is hell of a difference between award for the car and award for the engine.Below are some facts and answer these:

1.These awards are for the engine not the award for some particular car,same engine is used for atleast 9 other toyota cars(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_KR_engine), so if yaris owners are happy so should be all other car model owners.

2.These are awards for one sub-category which is 1.0L of a long category of engines(mostly euoropean and amercans automakers produce higher cc engines, only old model yaris 1-SZ-FE won engine of the year in 1999.

1. Swift has won numerous car of the year awards whereas vitz(new model) has won none of the car of the year award, only 1-2 sub-category awards in ur list.

4.The world doesn't argue like fools and people with childish mentality they don't look at the brand of the car but its performance, that is why swift has been awarded so heavily by world award comittees and journalists.

Why do we argue on these two cars? i don't even see the point.

i own a vitz 2007 and its a flawless car but i like the swift as well.. while buying mine i tried both one by one and chose vitz because that was according to my taste..

there is a minimal difference in looks i don't know why people keep arguing about looks here? interior definitely vitz own it.. engine its pretty obvious swift is fast but with safety i don't think pak swift is ANY way ahead (i don't think anyone should trust pak suzuki when it comes to local car, if you really want safety then import JDM swift).. i think swift is a little wider than vitz from the exterior but i felt more free while sitting in vitz.

If they put air bags in swift it will be a full package for swift lovers. Both cars are cool but the competition will be perfect if you compare JDM to JDM and Local to Local car seriously!

ii) Local Manufactures are very Greedy and earn Billions of $. But in return giving us a Third Class Vehicles. Not Third Class Better Say Low Class.
iii) In terms of Local: Only Honda / Toyota / Nissan / Cheverolet giving some-how Good Quality Vehicles.

You are arguing childishly, just see the wikepedia link, there is clearly mentioned the enine name Toyota 1-KRFE and below is mentioned in which cars it is used(there are 9 cars in which it is being used) and it is not specific to Vitz so nothing to boast fot only vitz but all the cars and engine of the year is not 1-KRFE it is Volkswagon 1.4L(1-KR_FE is for 1.0L category).

Engine is only one part of the whole car and if you don't know the difference between car of the year and engine of the year then i can't help you.Car is whole and engine is just a part of it. You put a good engine in a bad car and the result will be disaster. I don't want to imply that vitz is bad it is very good but facts are facts and swift has been awarded by the world of motor journalists not me so kindly argue with all those award juries please.

Swift is a good car but when you are going to compare it with Vitz (aur wo bi Japanese Version) Yar Sdogar kuch to Aqal ko hath Dalo. JDM cars in respect of Quality are Extremely GOOD than the local ones. This is known by all who gets this opportunity to DRIVE the JDM cars.

Sdogar this Engine is made by Toyota - and Yes the Vitz Owners are really proud to have this Award Winning Engine in their cars and Yes this Engine is so popular that it is also used by other brands.

welll if u dont abt cvti i can ttell u .its a flop for cng plus it has the worst experience in cars with small engines become extreme underpowered.Previous vitz came with 4spped auto and has very good pick but new one came with cvti thts crap in small engines.And cvti is not a luxury item,its available in city so does city is luxury car

beta itna bhi nahi pata swift sirf new zealand n india mein zada sale hoti hai n vitz has much better sales record than in uk usa japan pakistan n many more even its a record breaking car in uk n japan ...japan mein sab say zada vitz n jazz sale hoti hai swift nahi.......
