World is changing fast. Rain in desert is amazing. Even these rich arab fellows are getting a taste of (rainwater on roads and traffic jams) what we earthly people in Pakistan face every now and then

It truly was VENICE!

I was stuck in disaster on 2nd December...

I left for City Center from my house at around 4 PM...
Al Wahda was flooded like anything...More than half of the tyres was completely under water....but no problems..

Since WAhda was totally jam...WE decided to take Industrial Area route to reach Sharjah City Center from the rear parking area...

And guess what...The road was so flooded there you couldnt make out the barrier in the middle!!!

WE made up our mind and decided to make it through the SEA...And we did...but with lots of problems..
Even a NEW Hilux had broken down in that water!..and not to forget...lots of Corollas!...

Now you know how low a Galant is...Nearly the whole tyre was under water...we could feel the pressure inside the cockpit...but we forced our way thru...The exhaust was choking with water lyk hell!...
The engine i think overheated and lots of smoke was emerging from the hood!...The Temperatue gauge died to ZERO for sometime also!....but thankfully we kept moving and made it to the City Center parking lot!

Once there... we revved the car to the max...just to release a fountain of water from the Exhaust pipe..and later on It started smoking so intensely that I disappeared in the Smoke!

Then we left at around 9:30 pm...

WE reached home at 12:30am..

Imagine that...3 hours to come from City Center to Abushagara....

Everything was flooded...especially the places near the Junctions...and the worst thing was that there were around 5-8 cars broken down after every 100 Meters distance!...
They had brought in REcovery trucks which made the traffic jams even worse!

we just saw glassy roads

btw that day my frnds and i played football in the rain at Jumeirah Beach Park from 2 till 5, and by the time we left we were soakin wet and covered in mud
and so no taxi was stopping for us , and we waited 30 mins for a damn CAB !!!!:@
then we decided to walk home, imagine from Beach Park to spinney's ( +4 KM )!!!!!!!!!
but we had a blast !!!!
we stole a shoppin trolley from Choitram's and took turn ridin in it
man we were dead when we reached our homes and now we're all down with a cold

Dunno about dubai, but had you been in sharjah, You'd definitely be cursing your luck!

yaar bhai kiya baat ker rahe ho 2nd Dec ko to mien bhi mausam enjoy kerne nikla tha apni Corolla Manual le ker n went through deepest flooded areas but Alhamdulilah meri gari band nahin hui infact i didn't saw any 2000 model above Corolla broke down in rain water......i live near City Center Sharjah n signal crossing near my home was full of water even Anjad cars broke down at tht signal.....

I'm sorry i didnt take pics but...i'll tell you the majority of cars i saw broken down were...

a) Corollas
b) old VW Jettas and Golfs
