Classic & modern lines gracefully merged into a well proportioned shape. This is a decent looking car and should age well over the coming years. Will endure well unlike the faddy/immature looking new Civic that will be a flop soon you mark my words.

Oh and the interior looks so upscale and refined, like a much more expensive luxury car's interior. Toyota has again set the benchmark for all other competitors. New Civic has got such a tacky/plasticky interior with a quirky design theme.

Toyota is opting for similar interior styling in their almost all vehicle line-up, Vitz 2011 and Camry 2012 have almost same interior as this.
About the rear it looks ugly current one looks much better and simpler, this one reminds me of Toyota Etios
Interior and Front are not ugly but not great aswell, i guess it will take time to get to like it.
And finally the Next gen corolla will be releasing in Pakistan by the End of 2014 or in the beginning of 2015 with exactly same interior but with little bigger sized and better looking exterior.

I feel That AXIO is brand successor to Corolla which is over 40 year old. Corolla production already stopped in USA in 2010 and requirement is filled from Canadian plant.

As Corona was succeeded by Premio & Cressida by Camry

Wrong.Axio is a counterpart of corolla for Japanese Domestic Market(JDM) and for only Japan.In japan people prefers small cars thats why they have exclusive AXIO for Japan and Corolla for whole world.

How can you term Axio to be smaller, particularly compared to Corolla? To me, it appears to be the the Corona-Corona Premio-Premio effect taking place. And I agree, it's damn ugly and Chinese looking.
