I think it was about 24KM and a few hours later we reached Banjosa Lake. we enetered the Banjosa parking area, to find cars, vans and coasters blocking the road all looking for clean dry parking spaces. we being on bikes and not minding too much about getting a little dirt on us, moved through the traffic and parked our bikes to the left side of the lake (muddy/chikar area), few of us requird the gentlemens room to refeshen up and "become a little lighter"!!
The wash room usage was costing 20rupess per person! i am not sure where the cash goes as the state of the wash rooms (2 toilets) was not high standard, concidering this is a famous tourist resort, i was shocked at what i saw. Firstly there was no seperate facilities for male and female, both had to use same 2 rooms. 2 youngs lads were collectiing the 20 rupess after usage.
I asked one of the you lads, when it started to raining.... he replied " bahi jan barash ko 7 din ho gai han lagatar - aur sunna hai kay kal barish khatam ho ge".
WOW raining for 7 days lagatar... now i can see why the colour of the lake was muddy... !
Even with all this rain and bad facility management, tourist were visiting this resort in thousands and thousands... EID HOLIDAYS!!
Due to light/heavy/light rains we could not enjoys the full effect of Banjosa lake. having said that, we being 8 boys, made the most of the place as poss, took a few snaps, few hours later as the rain became light showers we decided to move on towads Rawalakot and find a hotel to clean up and rest, keeping in mind we hand been riding and walking in the rain for a 4-5 hours by now.
Squad leader Saqi, gave the order.... " SADDLE UP BOYS - LETS RIDE OUT".
