Babusar top & Saif ul Maluk trip: Need help

Ahmed if you are planning to go on new city. I ill suggest to put spacers in rear springs. It will increase some height of car and won't effect braking and handling. Main prob of new city is it get too low with passengers and luggage in trunk.

wow, thats what i was considering myself! it wud give us about 2 inches of extra clearance at the back. thanks for the suggestion, i ll work on it...

CAR OPTION sir g all the mentioned cars r good enough to go there when u will reach there u will find 90% of cars of lahore number n 2012 2013 model so not at issue up to naran:)

2.up to naran road good is very good with some very small patches jahan road ni road k sariye nikaly wy han:P ,no parking issue its safe,bro road condition from naram to babu sar top is simply:-! from naran 30 km is very fine but after that u cant call that a road:( ,
3. no security issues SIR G btw ap ki body building kis din kam aani ha phr? if u hav plan to visit ansu jheel then try to come back on time shaam sy pehly pehly ,else all good:)
4.dont visit saif ul maulk n babu sar top the same day as on way to babu sar top there is lolu sar jheel u need some time to stay there as well to wapisi pe dair ho jani ha bro ,babusar top k rasty pe bohat kam log hoty han:(
5.there is 1 petrol pump in naran wo b BABA QUAM k zamany ka mery friend ki mini pajero ki hickiyan abi tak khatum ni hoi us petrol k bad:-# try to avoid petrol from there i must say, else no queues or 1000rs story
6. bro i dont know about hotel rooms but we enjoyed alot in tants ,yes there r tant colonies there,they will take ur id card n will return it to u when u leave 800 per nite n super clean matress,blankets pillow etc n yes on the bed of khunhar river (raat ko jo lovely awaz ati ha pani ki lovely lovely ,hotel me to banda rehta hi ha tant ka apna maza ha,they offer u car parking as well ,n very very near to naran bazaar har cheiz milti ha khany ki with good quality ,to my surprise khaany peny ki chiezen naran me murre etc sy sasti han mean geniune pepsi at saif ul maluk jheel was for only 100rs which is quite reasonable i think:)
7. feel easy no tention bro ab 96 mini pajero pe penture tyre k sath gai lolzzz:D n wapis b usi penture tyre k sath aye
8.pata ni hum to sardi doondty doondty glacier tak pohanch gai par sardi ni i yes babu sar top pe freezing hawa thi ,dant bajny lag gai thy:P

this is a proper tant colony n no threat of theft etc the only prob there is washroom:-$
but us ka elaaj b ha khana khany kisi aisy hotel me jana jahan washroom acha ho simple,

With 3-4 person and luggage, at 1 or 2 places it will be problem, e.g streams of water flowing down from mountain on road, so in that case tell the friend to get out of car till cross the stream. Mehran be jati hay babusar tak jati hay. Petrol Mansehra ya phir balakot mein full kara laina, otherwise open petrol is available at Naran and PSO pump is there but when i was there they had no petrol.
So no problem i think.
Aur honda city forum pe post na karnay ka kia roza rukka howa hay.

Well knowledge is one thing and practical experience is another thing. I dont have any offroad or mountain driving experience, thats why i am concerned. 1 or 2 tough places is no big deal. friends are already telling me that if theres any high risk areas, i ll have to drive the car while they ll walk safely Thanks for the advise
well Honda city fan club has literally discussed each n everything. now people are mostly repeating old questions (i.e. new members) so the real work that has to be done is to make an index. i ll do it very soon.

If you want your self to be ripped by the Kaghani people/shopkeeper/hotel owner than visit in or after eid days other wise visit in early september ...you will be happy mind it.

Went there last month on my new City.
In your case, there are 4 peoples, so i wont suggest u to choose city, as its bit under powered with power ground clearance. Corolla would be Perfect.

Just came back from Naraan last night. Went there with my family. It was all serene and peaceful, so thoroughly enjoyed the entire trip with hotel and jeep rats so damn cheap. However, I was told that after eid during the next 2 to 3 weeks, Naraan is expecting very large number of tourists. All major hotels are booked till September.

Also, the track from naraan to jheel saiful muluk is under construction and one may get stuck in traffic jam due to such a large crowd. The driver of the jeep (that took us to the lake) told me that traffic jams are common on this track due to construction works and equipment lying on the track. Similarly, most of the hotels have got reservations till September. The one I stayed in had most rooms booked till October. I would suggest you to go there during Weekdays if you want to stay at a better hotel and avoid the kind of traffic jams i mentioned above, if not postpone your trip till September.

@ Ahmadbila, you already have had very balanaced advice from various individuals. Yes it will be very busy for the rest of August. people want to make best use of school holidays. So after 1st week of september it will be quieter and more peaceful (thats what I would prefer). Not many people have choice so almost every ride possible is present there. Saw a Mehran and a Suzuki Bolan Dabba's at babusar top as well! Corrolla would get my vote for your travels. September usually is not too cold. Only late evening out in open may be chilly!

Just as many have said, make up ur mind and just go for it. I am sure you will have great fun. I know you are a bit further away than me form your destinations, but have done day trips as well to these destinations! Links below if you are interested to have a look!

after 18th July it would be okay n for new city try to use maximum hioctane n keep octane boosters.Do keep in mind the kharcha of new Clutch set if driver is little anari.Yet reach there early morning even if ur going in eid holidays u know ppl usualy wakeup lately.No need for spacers have been there wth 4adults n two children on new city wth full trunk n luggage under seats aswell clearance was not a problem.There is one more desi toutka whn u have too steep road remove the air filter
