Dear overall experience was so gud n the sceneries were beyond expectations.
But due to heavy rain that day caused land sliding the locals call it flood.
Other than only few patches the road is carpeted.
U ll enjoy every turn n ll find new scene.
Chillas is known as mid way or 1 day rest area for going toward "gilget" "hunza" and "sakurdu". Thats y it is not as expected.
Ppl saying u shoud not come right after Eid. As Naran will be fully crowded and from abotabad to Naran it ll take much time.
So in my view august will be a good month to visit.

we 3 friends are planning to leave on thursday noon in mehran. We will cross babusar pass early morning on friday. I heard route in not safe as there are reports of daku and lootings?
last year we went through kkh n return from babusar. due to eid roads were crowded so no security issues. but before one day of eid road suppose to be empty

Thanks for the update. You are right, it would not be a good idea to visit in Eid Holidays. I have had this experience when it took one complete day to reach Naran from Abbotabad on 2nd day of Eid. Plus, i was astonished to see the rush at Naran. It took us 30 odd mins to cross the Naran Bazar. The hotels were crowded and extremely expensive. Saif ul Maluk was as crowded as any park in Lahore. Was a very bad experience and we had to rush back.

I would never ever suggest anyone to visit any place in eid holidays. Enjoy Eid at home buddies.

The problem with August is the Monsoon. Floods have become a regular issue now as we are not building any dams. The weather forecast of end July and Early August is not so good. Lets hope that there is not too much rain this season.

Need Advise about Travel to khunjerab pass on Suzuki every 2009 4x4 or Honda Fit Hybrid 2011

Both have Automatic Transmission.

Total 5 passengers

The disadvantage with honda fit is Low Ground Clearance and We want to travel through Babusar pass and not sure about

Suzuki every's 660cc engine power.

we have plan to begin our travel on second day of eid but still have not decided the vehicle yet.

i came back from the route 2 days back.
NAran to babusar top road is now extreemly good.
i took a Honda civic 2005.
From Naran to Babusar, Not more then 5 hours, Road is good. Just a few bad patches ...
From Babusar pass to Chillas, its one Hour drive

I'm not aware of that. There are jeeps you can book from naran to babusar top. But as for busses and coaches i dont think there would be any.

I am planning to visit Babusar Pass on 18 Sep. Hopefully everything should be OK. I plan to leave Naran around 8am so that I can be back in Naran well within the daytime.
