one can never have too much of damping material. outer skin isnt too much necessary, sealing the inner skin is.

Sir do u recommend dynaxorb to b placed behind d speakers? how much difference did u feel with n without it?

you can put dynaxorb, or for a poor man's but equally effective solution -> cardboard egg crate.

Re did the doors today, had some sheet left, so thought of using it, since i was pretty bored after the bakra slaughter.

Filled the spaces which werent dampened before, also put some Dynamat on the plastic poshish.

Used a hair dryer to heat the sheet, and then apply it even more firmly to the body.

Usually ppl like us use it on inner skin only but I've seen some competition cars they put on both outer n inner skin.

Shahid bhai's civic was dampened on both inner and outer skin with dynamat.

Nauman bhai's civic is also dampened on both the sides with dynamat, my car too is dampened both on the inner as well as outer skin, outer with underlay, inner with dynamat.

It makes quite a difference.

Talha inner or outer, it is what you call it, some even call it outer.

As you can see in the above picture, ive got dynamat on the inner/outer ( whatever you may please, you could call it ) the place where the mids are installed.

Yup that place needs to be damped, because it would 1) reduce rattles, 2) seal your doors, 3) would reduce road noise, 4) would reduce the vibrations, 5) your sound system would start sounding a little loud, more crisp and clear.

Just got back in after Dynamating the rear shelf.

First Step was to take off the rear seat and back rest.

This is how the 8 Gen Civic looks without the rear bench.

You could see the guts of SS Ref in the picture, i had taken off the rear plate of reference for more ventilation.

Then in order to bring out the rear plastic deck we need to un-clip the plastic pannels on the C pillars.

These are the pannels im talking about.

First part of the pannel was taken off using a flat face screwdriver, there are 5 clips which need to be taken off.
