and if its the rear plastic panel giving you a headache, forget dynamat. It will cost too much and will still rattle, cause being -> the panel is weightless!

Get to a rubber shop. They have all sorts of rubber sheets, as thin as paper and rubber panels as thick a 2-3 inches. Pick out your thickness and weight. Cut em to size and stick em to underside of panel with cementex. No rattles. Guaranteed.

Nice idea, ill try this out, just need to add more weight to it, it only rattles at this one song, but i think i can live with it for the time being, my semester's about to end and would have too much work load, so inshALLAh after the semester ends, i'd try this out as well, thanks for the suggestion, maddy bhai and i discussed a similar thing, using tyre tubes to deaden the doors, but sticking them in place is a pain in the butt, but for complete curing i think i'd have to go with this rubber wala idea!

Final Verdit:

The car feels quite quiet now, and the cabin gain has increased, my main motive was to stop the rattling on the rear shelf, which are atleast reduced by 85%, but due to the plastic being too light they aren't gone away 100%

I did put some Dynamat on the plastic deck as well, and it helped a lot.

I used Focal test disc no.9 to test the rattles, because that disc is a little more than usual bass heavy. and now im pretty pease with the music.

The Sq has improved a lot since the car has become quiet and the bass response has increased, the mids sound great as well now.

The plastic deck would vibrate no matter what, becuase of it being less in weight, if i cover the speaker holes, the bass response would be affected, ive opened them for better bass response in the cabin.

Ive put Dynamat even on the plastic pannel, BUT the point is that it would resonate no matter what you do, there are certain frequencies which would make it rattle to some extent, the only solution is like they do it in the west to get wooden panneling, but that would be pretty difficult here in Pakistan.

My main objective was to add weight to the rear shelf, because previously i had Pioneer E series which are pretty heavy, and when they were in the rear, the shelf wouldnt rattle, but then when i removed those for better sound stage, the shelf would rattle. So i tried adding more weight to it.

But this is a good idea, dampen it from both sides, let me get hold of some more dynamat then

I have the original one but i dont know how to upload it on torrents, dont have an account and im using a very old PC which hardly works for 5 minutes flat without getting stuck, maddy bhai and shahid bhai might help you with this, let any of them come to the thread, they could give you a link.

Using one of the Kenwoods in civic now, OEM player, good SQ i must say, better than my chinese DVD indash, much better.

Yeap, I still have the amp, it's doing great, currently running front Sony GTR1720S components on it, will be upgrading to Focal Access pretty soon though
