noob or not, its a quality amp. quantity is nothing without adequate quality. if you're planning to put speakers or want to upgrade to something good then better to buy that amp!

Not for pure spl purpose, you need a mono amplifier for that.

This is a class AB amplifier, usually class D amps are for SPL purpose because they are more efficient.
