I think its not just Bhurban but also Rawalpindi, Lahore, etc. too. We have an annual official function at PC and I have stayed at PC Rawalpindi every year from the last 4 years while this year it was in PC lahore.
The rooms need an upgrade as they are deteriorating. They still have those old TVs rather than LCDs/LEDs in some of the rooms. The carpet is becoming worn out, you see signs of cracks/damage on wooden panels, stains on the tiles, etc.
The food was just ordinary. This year (in Lahore), no one liked their food and we decided to go to Village the next day instead of PC. Similarly, in Rawalpindi/Islamabad, we enjoyed a lunch at Usmania better than at Bokhara. I liked Jason's as at least it was something different (continental) but Bokhara and MarcoPolo were just so so. It wasn't particularly bad but also not something you would look forward too. And for an ordinary food, I won't be spending my own Rs.1500/-.
The breakfast was the best they had to offer both in terms of variety and fresh, cooked-to-specification omelette (if the rush is not too much).
