Bad quality of honda city 2011 paint

This car is always waxed with mothers synwax, but still the paint got ruined. Hurts to see such thing happen but cars r for driving and when u drive shiiiiiit happens

bro id suggest that you give the spots a very light compound. even better if you ask a good detailer to do it for you.

i met one of honda's own painters once, they told me the secret of the shine in the paint of their expensive imported cars like accord and cr-v. on those cars clear coat is sprayed once, then it is lightly sanded and then an additional layer of clear is sprayed onto it. this explains the durability and looks of that paint. if resale isnt too much of a problem u shud do that

scrub it off

I used mothers scratch remover and the paint totally fell out....u can see the whiteish spot in the picture

happened with my car once there were bird dropping on the roof and when i cleaned it after 3 days there was a spot very light though but eventually after compounding and waxing it went away

I am sorry bro, but ur thread doesn't make any sense to me. U said u "cleaned" the bird dropping. Then u mentioned u used "mother's scratch remover" to clean the dropping.

bird droppings don't chip the paint off bro. they leave very light marks on the paint which easily go away by slight compounding. The paint surface thats been properly waxed and buffed doesn't show the slightest of the marks even.

What I guess is that u used an incorrect amount of scratch remover with an incorrect form of application and got ur car's skin exposed.

U have got a very limited amount of paint on ur car's surface that u can play with bro. IMO, u should have taken ur car to a professional detailer.

My car's are washed and waxed like once in a week and there are several bird droppings that stay on the surface monday through saturday. This has been for like 7 years to a certain car in my garage.

this NEVER happened that bad to me. :)

^^The droppings were cleaned by washing the car with water by the driver.only water and elbow greace......the dark coloured spots remained black ones in picture......i used mothers scratch remover and the paint chipped off, whitish area in picture

wax the places that survived the compound and post high quality pictures in the detailing thread. either the compound was used too badly or something is wrong with either the paint or the bird's stomach

A few days ago a bird did its stuff on my cars bonnet and once i got it cleaned this happened:

i know some guys will think something else (acid etc) fell on it but no it happened on exact places of bird dropping. Guess ill have to get the bonnet painted. as it was a weekend the dropping was cleaned on monday when driver came. hell what do these birds eat!!!!

i m in serious doubt that u have used un even pressure while using the scratch remover this can't be caused by removing the bird droppings.

This can happen due to bird stuff as you said cause it cotain high percentage of ammonia. Secondly ammonia is bleaching agent in chemical terms.

i recently bought city 2011. and i agree. the paint is shitty. such poor craftman ship.
