@KamranAslam, I've talked to the bank regarding the payment plan and how they can offer any solution that may be acceptable to both, but the problem is they are telling me that the car finance department of entire country is shifted to Karachi Head Office and its dealing with it, the people at Lahore office are saying that they had let go hundred of employees and now they have to face the customers here without any power to negotiate.
@Proverbial_Slang, thanks for the link man, people need to understand this and how even in public companies, everything is not done according to rules. Thanks for the kind wishes and thankyou again for helping and clearing out stuff, really appreciate that a lot. Thanks
@bango, Its like saying ''Many policemen are involved in bribery, so I am free to steal/kill and no one should arrest me for that''., really man, is this what you interpreted with my seeking of advice????
@rizwan400, thankyou so much, I'm truly grateful for your opinion and the way you explained the options, helped a lot and thankyou again. truly appreciated.
@rbsmanager,thankyou for your advice, and believe me the markup they charge, I don't think they would have lost any sort of money.
@ahsan1702, few years back they use to call even before the due date to remind about the payment. But in past few months as they shifted their operations to Karachi Office, before the possession they didn't call, no notice, no nothing.
@enerlevel, yep it was close to six months or as I've been told, 120 days, than they would have decided what to do next, not anymore, they just go ahead and take the car after 60 days. And I don't think they follow the credit history rules here in Pakistan, or atleast UBL doesn't. I've deposited consecutive payments for more than 3 years till now from the start, this would have counted for something.
@ Proverbial_Slang, I don't know the person and I don't know if the bank did the right thing. OP asked for advice, and I would provide it as a empathic human being.
This was the only thing that I asked for and thankyou so much for understanding.
@All, thankyou so much for your feedback, comments and I am especially truly grateful to the people who've given their advice, shared their experiences or just said some kind words to ease my pain in this difficult time, thankyou guys so much, will update about the further developments.
