Aoa allNeed help Car is Civic 1995 EX. After heavy rain for one night. Car has some leakage issues. Went to office the next day. When I reached. I turned off the car but the engine was running and the battery & parking light was on. Also the alarm remote was working but the usual sound the remote makes was gone. I turned the car off by leaving the acc pedal off and applied the first gear. This was totally new for me as I ve been a driver for almost 12 years but never encountered something like this. The mechanic look around the car and said that the generator is direct bla bla. He did something under the steering and played around with some wires. After that he said that come back so I will fix that generator direct issue. The rest is fine now. I went home and locked the car with remote ( This time It did make that sound which calmed me down that my car is ok now) suddenly after 5 mins the alarm went off on its own. I turned it off by pressing the unlock button on my remote ( No sound again) - The Battery Light & Parking Light were on and I had my key in my hand. I went to electrician again. He did the entire dance again and said ohoo One wire was touching this steel thats why It did that...Sir its fine ok go ahead....I came back home again...Happy that all the stuff was back to normal....All day and night the car was fine...now just an hour ago...the car alarm went off again by on its own and again the same issues- No Remote sound- Battery Light Parking Light appearing- Keys not in ignition. I went to disconnect the battery - It sparked when I was loosening the bolt....I am in peshawar. Please If anyone can help because this is new for me.
short circuiting can goddd forbid lead to fire hazardstake it seriouly and hopefully someone local recommends u a good electrician over here
For the time being till this is fixed, you may consider to remove battery terminal whenever you leave the car unattended. This is to prevent any fire or battery drain or further cooking of ECU or other module.

Just back from the electrician ...again he told me that generator is ok. Problem is pertaining to the Remote Guy....The remote guy said that the alarm got no issues wse...The lights appeared again....wasted 3 hours and no luck ....also wasted money....someone suggested me Adil ustad in shuba....lets see
