You can do the conversion yourself. If you have a desktop pc, buy a tv-tuner card. Its not very expensive, around 400 to 500 rupees. Most of these tv tuners come with a software that allows you to hook up a vcr and record the video on your pc. Check the box, it should say that you can record vcr videos. Good luck.

WTF mayn , Mood kharab hogeya hai mera

1 mnth ago the same happened with my Friend
He parked his car on jail road within the service lane infront of an epmty plot which was walled from every side
He had his SONY VIAO (that he bought 6 mnths ago for 122k) at the back seat LEG ROOM area and the car had rear tinted screen and shades all over the car
a man came and started to PEE next to the wall , dont know actually he was PEEing or not as this was the last of what he had seen
My friend locked the car ( reborn 09 insured along with tracker) and went to meet his colleague and after 1 hr when he came back he saw the rear DOOR side quarter broken and found his laptop missing
as Reborns handle lock is pretty much in the middle(at the rear) so he easily opened the door and took the laptop along with the bag and everything
BY chance he didnt leave his iphone in the center compartment as usual or other wise it would've been stolen aswell

Such Cases are getting popular day by day SO I WOULD ASK EVERYBODY NOT TO LEAVE THEIR BELONGING IN THEIR CARs

whats abt paid parking? Didnt u claimed them for ur loss as they also ve seen the cctv? also put complain against the person there and ask police that hes involved too. because without his noivolvement it wasnt possible.

We recently charged an Employee full amount of a laptop he left on rear seat of his Brand new Honda City 2011 which was stolen.

Always try to keep the laptop in Boot. Even when i have to put it in Boot I just dont open the boot and put it in when I need to park. I make sure I put my Laptop before i reach the destination. There a are a lot of eyes watchin you now a days :p.

it is safe i mostly do rotating shift e.g evening, night, morning, but i often take my car to office, n mostly use my bike, i agree that shouldn't left it in there, but i took the car only for that purpose that ill hide it in my car, i putted it under the seat, the guards at enterence know me v well, so they won't check my car while entering into plaza parking, so there is no chances that some one seen that in day light. rest i parked in P1 the most closest and rushy parking floor. bad who know that today somthing bad gona happened to you.

I must say, NEVER leave ANY of ur precious possessions in ur cars people. They are more prone to being stolen than a car itself.

Laptops, mobile phones, wallets etc are a thieves honeycomb. They know there is gonna be something to steal in the back seat of a 2 million car.

The ONLY way, IMO to stop these thieves is "apni madad aap" cz all of us know, Police is not gonna do anything just cz a dude got his laptop stolen worth a few thousand bucks. U'll have to pay the Police more than the laptop was worth to get it back, which seems pretty lame useless to me.

The all time famous idea of using "bait" cars is gonna come in handy perfectly. Its about to leave a car with possessions like laptop, mobile phone etc on the back seat and waiting for the guy to attack them while waiting with a licensed 12 gauge shotgun in a car with fully tinted windows.

let him crack open the car, just by the time he is about to leave with the things, Catch him, tries to run?, unload a couple of rounds to bang him down.

Thats the only way they'll learn cz its NEVER a single person in action, its always a gang of five or seven dudes who perform these robberies.

One goes down, the others stay low for a few months.

For me, a licensed 9mm in the dash while driving has been serving the purpose, cz no one's gonna help you but your own self. cz nowadays, one feels like stepping into a war zone, the moment he leaves his home. Always be ready for ANYTHING to happen to you on the roads. :(
