Wise purchase. This is the best bike in PK in terms of safe riding, good for long journey and pleasure riding. Awesome gear i must say. This is how a bike should be ridden 
As you have asked for advice as well so here you go.
Chose your mechanic wisely. RP is known to get abused but hathorra mechanics. I have been a victim of this.
Change its stock plug on first tune up to NGK original one (the one came with it also NGK but i don;t find it pretty good it creates problem sometimes like missing etc).
As you are security conscious, better to change its rear tire as well IF you feel that it is slippery on sudden breaks. Don't get confused just judge it your self if you think that its grip is not up to the mark then change it otherwise its fine.
