i seriously doubt about ShopHive... i found them best in online shopping. always order from them, got iphone and samsung both from them online. it was perfect. i dont think shophive guyz do such things. you should ask some computer guy to check it, as it might be some other issue.

I, Myself, am a computer guy. I also got it checked by an Asus dealer (which i found very late) before buying another board from him for 32k.
Also, things at Shophive are overpriced as compared to any other online shop/local market.
I would suggest to buy things from Shophive that has a price tag of 5k or less.

P.s. I am not being paid for saying all this. I have been ripped by them and sharing my experience. Rest is your choice.

oh dear.. well i guess you have heard Daraz.pk v.famous site they are looters also..

there is one site me and couple of friend did shopping only bought mobile which was bytes.pk

they take payment when you got your item and if you dont like that item on time of delivery you can return they sent delivery boy to your door step or office

check it like it take or return it your choice.

I'm asking bcoz i also had bought the lg g3 from bytes.pk and didn't ask the courier guy to hand over to me first, all i knew was that i has to make payment first.
But luckily i was given a pristine condition phone.

i have ordered 10-12 times from export leftovers and returned items 5-6 times because of one reason or another (didn't like the item, broken item, wrong size etc.) and they accepted the items/ refunded them within 2-3 days. They have a 30 days no questions asked return policy which they truly fulfill although you have to pay for the return shipping.
i haven't received any defective item and pretty satisfied with their quality (you get what you pay for)

recently my brother ordered nexus 5x from homeshopping and the delivery guy (not a courier company guy but the homeshopping guy) sat there for a good 10-15 minutes until my I thoroughly checked the phone and then made the payment.

on the parcel it was printed "do not open this parcel before payment done to courier" I was in hurry so i release the courier agent. Then i open the parcel after a while.

1- You should have taken a hint from the name of that website
2- You should have opened the parcel and checked the goods first. It was your money (that is now in their pockets) that you paid them for rubbish.
3- Whatever you order, open the parcel and check! If unsatisfied, do not pay a dime. I've been there and done that.

As @hash4u mentioned, the pay-on-delivery option only allows to pay on spot. They dont even hand over the package to you in some cases unless payment is received.

Thats because the eCommerce group is doing a collaboration with courier company just to manage the payments. Not the handling of concerns/ disputes.

If someone wants to believe on me then do not do shopping with anyone in Pakistan, likewise, Kaymu, shopdaily, etc etc.

IMO best online store is shophive.com and the ceo arslan is really responsive on email and on text although their rates are really high.

2-An iPhone 5 - international version (my sibling was sure he would get an original import here, and payed a premium as well, although advised otherwise)

The Results

1-Shophive are pricier. And they boldly claim on their forum that they are, because it takes alot of effort to import and clear an item

2-The iphone turned out to be carrier blocked in the West. Imagine the frustration of a person who's perfectly working Legal iphone (no restriction from APPLE) is flagged. It was safer to get a new contract.

Anyways, as some people say, shophive is also not that "Daman Saaf - Washed in Milk" kinda people.

In the ME, souq seems to be good as long as an item is sold by them directly. Any third party seller, ocassionaly gets negative reviews.

Let me explain you very truely, Shophive is reliable and they always give better customer services but as rapidly growing Daraz.pk is really performing well in demand.

A new site Yayvo is in market from TCS and same as pathetic service as anybody else.

Anyhow reputable are for electronics is Shophive and for all together including electronics Daraz is reliable for sure until now I have not found any damage from them and they always cooperate with customers.

Let me conclude it once again for local purchases Daraz and for international, Amazon for selective products but Aliexpress is best then all especially when it concern to home decoration and etc but not for mobile and other things as you need to pay custom.

A customer of Export Leftovers. Bought just 1 item and when it was delivered by the courier guy, he strictly said not to open the parcel otherwise return would not be entertained. I was simply shocked at the ridiculous statement he gave. However since the package was not worth much, I went on the pay him in advance, took the package in, opened it and found everything alright.

Point is that online shopping is a BIG gamble. You can never really rely on these retailers who have pathetic after sales service and that is where the retail industry of Pakistan fails.

Online shopping, which looks cheap often isn't that cheap. I recently had an experience where I was looking for a particular model of laptop for which I contacted PakLap. I looked up the model on their website, checked other local online vendors, checked online reviews and made my order. Convenience of getting home delivery was of more important than going in the busy market and having various issues of traffic on my way, car parking in the market and then safety of the cash I carry and the laptop which I bring bag. Hence I preferred ordering online and the first order was made. There was some issue with the piece they had and the staff at PakLap was very supportive. Somehow the unit they sent me wasn't of my liking and I returned it to them. The next day I made the effort of visiting the market and somehow got the same laptop for 11k less than the asking of PakLap.
Result: I was much more satisfied with that I was getting with an insane margin of 11k.

Kaymu is something similar to Ali Express and their rates are pretty much competitive. I recently tried Fasilite and it was good as well.

Some of their stuff might be overpriced. They tend to overprice on stuff such as newly released phone worldwide, they're fast at bringing such stuff here so obviously exclusivity costs. But my experience so far was good. One good thing about them is if another online retailer is selling a product which HSN also sells but at a cheaper rate, then HSN will drop the price if we provide them with the website link.

Brother you should have used the return form provided with order. They have 7 days ( now probably 30 days) return policy for unused items. I have several times bought items from this site, mainly clothes and i am totally satisfied. They even provide details of stuff, GSM and exact sizing table for every item. Only once I received a small sized jacket and i returned it using return form (You have to pay courier charges yourself) and I got confirmation email the next day. Then i was given option of purchase voucher (you get exact cost of item for next purchase) or cash (easypaisa charges are deducted). I chose cash option but did not get back cash by 4 days. I then contacted the online representative ( they call him cheetah and he is not available on weekends or night) and i got money by easypaisa the same night. I have recommended this site to a couple of friends and they are both happy too.
P.S. for those claiming that export leftovers are always shabby items: It is mandatory to manufacture 10% extra items for foreign textile orders. After Quality checks, the 10% extra items are classified as A, B and C. A are exactly the same as original quality products and are sold by export leftovers as overruns of exported items. It is especially useful for me since I have large build and my size is not usually available for local garments. At export leftovers, I can easily get plus sized garments at very low prices.
Export leftovers also sell B quality garments but they always mention it and price of B quality garments is extremely low.

Have bought an Xbox360 from shophive. I was satisfied but the box of the Xbox looked old and was not in a good shape. Anyways Xbox 360 worked perfect and never gave issue. Have bought many mobile phones from homeshopping.pk and always satisfied.

I don't understand why people think that online shopping would be reliable in Pakistan where there are no laws to back you, no credibility of anyone and people/businesses don't care about their reputation. Why not just get your *** up, go to a market, check the thing by yourself and then buy it? only buy online if you can afford to loose the money if something goes wrong.

I once ordered case for my phone from souq dot com, I never received anything from them and they sent me an email saying that I did not fulfill the order, I replied to them and told them I never received any courier. They never returned to my email and they suspended the COD privilege.

I have ordered 29 products since 2015 from exportleftovers.com and to this day I've never had a problem. There have been times where the wrong size was sent or I didn't like the product but in every case I see filly refunded or the product was exchanged and at times when they sent the wrong size they also refunded the courier cost.

I never had experience with online shopping before, And after reading these unfortunate reviews,naturally I too, was skeptical of these stores.But I needed this years DELL XPS 9560 (16gb ram, FHD, 512PCI SSD, GTX1050) which is only available via Paklap.com (and that too at a reasonable price) . With extreme reservation I contacted Paklap customer support, but that was about it. They were very supportive and very accomodative. Fahad at the customer support helped me walk through the whole procedure with every guarentee he could offer.He provided me with service tags of the products to check before hand and was very welcoming.I contacted them during sale but due to these reviews I was reluctant to pay full money upfront to them, so I crossed the deadline.Still they were so nice to give me the same discounted rate.The shipment arrived at the day they said it would.Also provided me with a local tracking number. they were also very candid about the warranty info (what and how the coverage is) .This all helps build trust and rapport with the customer. Long story short, I got a new mint condition XPS 9560 at my door shipped from USA at a decent price (while it is still not available in Lahores market) with excellent customer support. Ofcourse, this is a two way road and you have to trust them too. I feel really sorry for those who had bad experience.
