I think the cost of body change you mentioned is ok considering that the whole car becomes almost new, Quetta or Waish border will be cheaper.

Mine is 2.8L, I have a 93 Pardo too, it had 2.4. i changed the engine to 1Kz

even i am looking forward on getting 1kz installed in my prado. but i think altering the prado would effect it's originality. like i don't want to visit my mechanic every week or so. how much does it cost to swap to 1kz from 2L?
