Belta doing 20km a liter that is simply impossible and the biggest gup of all
1.0 liter cars with Aircons and powersteerings in them never ever go beyond 14 to 16 km a liter
you can only do 20 km a liter of you do 16 km on engine and rest 4 tied behind a donkeycart ..... M talking about Local driving nothighway

Funny topic and funny replies some dont care if its auto or manual, some saying things from islamabad and some from mirpur khas :D, can a camry auto be more economical then a chery qq ?
how you drive your car, how road conditions are, how traffic conditions are, nothing matter, right ?

i get max 10-12km/l even after i got every thing in ma car checked,fixed,updated,etc. Full tuned my manual Honda City 2002 Hyper 16 valves gives the above mentioned mileage!

20 km/l is 48 mpg which is the norm in the US (EPA figures) for 1300cc~1500cc hybrids like the Prius & Civic Hybrid.

And this is a 1000cc engine, which is also smaller and lighter, along with the same fuel-saving CVT type transmission.

I would expect about 16 kmpl from a Belta 1.0

my platz gives me 15-16 km per liter within city

on long route on motorway i just tried once, it gave me exact 20 km/liter at 120km/hr constant, not stop from pindi to lahore, with 70 percent AC on, in october begining on 2007

Belta gives more than 14 km/ltr buddy... it gives around 17km/ltr as one of my friend owns this fabulous car...

yeah. cause ma carhas 42 Liter tank. i filled it in pindi, onto motorway with dad,non stop to lahore in 3:15 which it takes if u dont overspeed, and then also inside lahore a lil. when the meter had read 423 km,i topped it again and it had consumed exactly 21.2 or something liters. so tha maths is easy since then, i never calculated cause had gone to lahore to get it CNGed .lol. recently i have driven it from Sibi to here on petrol, but came ultra fast and was shit scared , so didnt notice at all. lolz. made it in one hour 25 minutes wagons take around 3 hours. certain places rite after sibi i was over 150 km/hr, with ma car FULLY loaded, the boot,the rear seats and even the front seat. lolz

Ok the reason for difference in Belta consumption is because of it being a used car... Jaisi use hui hou gi waisi consumption de gi...

Cars driven with care and newer parts give better mileage...

Now some people have a doubt about me saying that Camry gives 11-12 k.m/l...

a) My car is automatic
b) My car is driven under 8000 k.m
c) It has been driven with care
d) I live in Islamabad

Lastly about Chery QQ as I own it too... It gives around 15-18k.m/l... And yeah I use that car very roughly because I like drving fast and I can handle that car well... Plus it has a very fast acceleration and a very nice drive

I calculated the avrg of my woo racer!

As;

I fill 100rs' CNG.

Push the meter to 0

When fuel's 'R' light lit, I check the millage and usually I get 32-33 something. lol

as

CNG= 45.50/kg (now is 50/kg)

then in 90rs=2kg CNG (now in 100)

so

33 - 3=30

and

30/2=15

So it's 15kms/kg CNG!

Driving conditions are;

very bad, as I have to chang gear several times, harsh break, traffic jam.....etc!!!

Car is 15 yrs old+very heavy body+1500cc!!!

Same method I use to calculate it on highways!
