Belta transmission heating issue uphill

Belta went uphill, transmission got heat up and started blowing. Mechnic opened the gear oil chamber and changed the oil with reason that filter were blocked. While opening it was found that small half inch wires were left in Chamber. After that car started working fine. I drove car uphill on S mode.
Now car working fine.but want to know the reason of said issue.

Old oil and too much stress caused the transmission to overheat always plan a 30 minutes stay time to prevent it if you drive it on hilly arears after a long time.
Plus when servicing the engine bay always try to flush the engine block and transmission housing throughly to removes dust and grime. It will helps to disperse the heat generates by tranmission easily.

Why resting all other cars were going smoothly. Was S mode was ok or it should be B mode.

All other vehicles must have large engines belta is a poor soul. It's completely up to you to give it a rest or keep pushing it.
The recommendation is to drive it in S it in extreme condition B mode with a steady throttle not accelerating in frog jumping pattern.
So keep it steady and it will perform.
