yup universal car AC G-8 is best. Small shop bt that mechanic abubakar is very honest and skillful person.

I got my car back from workshop. Thanks God. Unexpectdly very normal expenses. The man did it very skillfully without replacement which reduced the cost very nominal. Now I would visit G-8 to meet Mr. Abubakar see what he suggests.

@Cypher001. I already visited him and he suggested new compressor with total expenses around 30K which are not feasible for me at the moment.

May i know were do u get ur car tunning and hows ur experience in that matter.i have got civic 95 but still i am unable to find out any good mechanic for car tunning (tappets adjustments etc).

@scorpio007. What is the problem with your car? If you are running your car on CNG and want it to be tuned than you must Mr Nasir, a pioneer CNG specialist. His workshop is located in I-9. His shop is located near Sui Gas building. In front of that building there are many marbal shops. If you are standing in front of that building and ask anybody where is the post office. His shop is next to the post office. (Pindi Auto Workshop) His younger brother Sabir will be there. Nasir started another workshop just recently in I-9 near Daewoo workshop. You can visit either of them both are very capable and honest person. But my preference will be Nasir. He is nice gentleman and very good doctor of CNG machines.

actually i have got no serious issue, but normally its my pra tice to get car tunning after 1 month or so.i dont find a gud mechanic for tappets adjustments.Any ways thx for the referance

@ abbasija! Now 30k is alot of money. By the way are we talking about replacing most of the parts of the cooling system (compressor, condenser etc)?

@TIM. No not really. Rest of the systems is fine. Service, gas, filter etc. like normal ac service + compressor. If you sum up all above it nearly 30K

@ abbasija! Heck!!!! that is a lot of money for all those things you mentioned. How much is the compressor? I think if you go for a new Sanden comp. that will cost you around 13-14k, plus what ever you mentioned, it should not even cross 20k.

Or am I wrong about the compressor?

@TM I myself did not check the price of the compressor but couple of AC shops where I visited to discuss the problem told me the price (same compressor already installed in the car) 23,300 now a days. Based on there comments I calculated the expense. Now I am not techno type of person so don't know if other than orginal compressor can be fixed. That's the reason I asked PW friends to guide me to honest and cabable person in car ac field.

I visited Abu Bakar last week. Yes he is nice guy. He changed the compressor with Kabli one and serviced the AC. total cost 9,500 which is quite reasonable. Ac working like a charm now. Thanks for everybody for the help.

Guys he is one hell of a mechanic. I visit him fo cng adjustment and tunning and car neva disappoint. Very skillful and more important a really honest person.

I am happy that he has done the job. One thing which I always prefer is the "honesty". I never mind if someone do something wrong. Human being can make mistakes. I very professional person can do a job wrong. I hate the person who do it wrong and insist that he did the job right and do not admit that he make the mistake.

I used to be a customer of Nasir/ Sabir @ pindi auto workshop and they know their job well. Didn't know that they have split.

I recently got my Rola 98 a/c fixed and here is the bill. :p..

Compressor: Piston one 4500 Rs
Compressor Mount: 2500
Compressor pully: 2000
Condensor Fan: 2500
Condensor: 3500
Evaporator: 3500
Gas Charging and other Work: 5000Rs.

Phew but a/c is like it should be now.

i visited abubakar's shop last year and was impressed by his honesty,i also recommend nazir autos g8/1 they are professionals for any car ac issues.
