Gree is a Pretty nice and reliable brand,A Friend of mine have 3 of em since 3 years,Only one have to be refilled with Gas but that is no issue
Secondly Gree is absolutely not comparable to Mitsubishi or other big Brand product,U'll need a 1.5 ton gree to cool down a 12x12ft Room but for 16x13ft room a Mitsubishi MrSlim Xtreme 1.0Ton can easily cool it
No Competition in Performance as Mitsu will save u plenty of electricity+Better cooling but Price wise it SUXXXX

Where did you get this SANYO 1 ton? And are you sure that it is made in Singapore?

I really like this Japanese brand, but am confused due to different statements of sales guys. Few says, it's made in Thiland. Other says it's from Malaysia. And one of them even said that it's Chinese.

None of them has any guarentee to what they are syaing.

Also from Abid Market, I could easily have get it on less than 25K. There's only 1 model number "124" available in market and its making is of 2006.

Also, what about after sale service? Did you get its warranty on some warranty card?

I really want to buy this brand, but am confused due to such varying statements.

Well a very good topic but there is no consenses on which is best brand

there is american company a/c (PHILCO) in my house has been working since 1980 other than some minor switch issues it is working wonderfully till now i wish those a/c are still avaiable.. best ac i have ever seen

Then there are three general a/c window type they are very good in cooling but i had to get their gas refilled once after about 3 years use.

Bought lg window type a/c three years ago cooling was ok but always some problem comes up first some switch probelm then gas leaked twice ... so even its a big name lg is not a good experience

in my farm house two years ago i got 1.5 ton dawlance a/c installed which according to shopkeeper is the same as GREE ac.............. that ac is hardly used but still after 2 years its good no gas leakage and throw is fine cooling is not bad either ..............room size is 15 by 15

Now i have to buy a new split a/c and samsung came into my notice

There are new models in the market for LG AC. I saw in an ad, one model Titan has two indoor units. I guess it will be a different experience to have two indoor units.

LG are now marketed by PEL hmm so i guess more chinese parts will be used in LG Now. go for Mitsu if you got money. Otherwise you need some luck with chinese a/c But gree is a good brand.

samsung is also being made in pakistan according to their state.

yes i agree that GRee seems to be good option but which model should i go for.

As far as mitsubishi is concerned people say its is not same as before .there is extreme and advance model discussion

My friends has installed two mitsubishi 1 ton ACs, every AC work fine in early days. I checked the outer of mitsubishi and it wasn't impressive. Mitsubishi has single radiating grills while LG has got 2 of them. Cooling was good but he told me that it was written that mitsubishi AC actually drops 2 degrees below the set temperature, that is if you have set it at 26 degree it will bring the temperature down to 24 degree and the compressor will stop, now the compressor will start working again when the temperature rises above 26 degree. Inner unit is very quite I must say. But I am really impressed with the outer of LG ACs.
He bought each for 35k.

Hi Guys, Any thoughts/Reviews on WAVES Splits, In my life i have seen two, and i was amazed to see its cooling, it chilled me through the bones. If any one has used it please share ur experiance cuz i m about to get one for my self soon.

Well I Have Sanyo 1 Ton Unit And Yes Its 2006 Manufactured And Yes Model Model Is SAP-124GHGC..Its With Heater Unit....!!

Well From Person I Have Bought.....He Was Quiet Old Friend Of Ours And He Confirmed Its of Singapore....!!He Suggest It Among All Units....Although Other Japanese Brands Are There Too National Panasonic Is made In Malaysia..Same Goes With Sharp.....!! Only SANYO National Panasonic And SHARP Are Brands Lies In A Class In Rotary Technology...General Is Also Best But Due To Piston Type Compressors...Which Last Looonger..But Heavy On Electric Bill.....!!

I Am Using Sanyo From Like 2 Months Almost And Its Working Ok.....!! You Just See The Outer Unit And Inner Unit Hows Its Built And You Know The Quality Difference B/w CHINA Korea And Japanese Brands...!!

LG And Hyundai Are Korean And Is Better Than Chinese Brands....Mr Slim Xtreme Is Also Chinese Assembled Now...

Sanyo Offers 1 Year Parts And 3 Years Compressor Warrenty....!! Same Goes With All Others Japanese Brands...!!

Its 1 Ton Outer Units Weights 40kg Itself....!! So You Need Good Support Angles To Mount It....!! 300rs Angles Just Don't Work On It...!!

I Myself Fully Satisfied With Sanyo....!! Since We Have Used It Earlier And Its Best In Its Class...!!

Fitting Also Matters Much....If Your Lines Are Extended Over 8ft.....You Need To Tapp Inn More Refrigerent In The Unit To Overcome The Length Difference...!! Mostly People Don't Do This And Result Is After Some Time...Low Cooling And Loads On Line And Later It Leaks Out...!!

So Keep This Thing In Mind Too...!!

Dude you need ac for winter or summer ? if you need an AC for winter then go buy the one with builtin Heater in it, Good Luck !

if u want best then go for HYNDAI, 1.5 cos u around 52000/ but it is the most power full chilling machine i ever see in my whole experiance. second catagory goes to KENWOOD.

if yes whats the experience please share ?

Acson is a good brand. I hve not tried it but its a malaysian brand and you must go for it.

Its better than local chinese ones and quality is almost equal or better than new Mitsubishi.

I just started my AC ALHAMDULILLAH after cleaning it's filter with tab water. It's too hot in Karachi these days. 12 years record broken this march. Raised to 41.8 degrees.

I have a question, is 5000 watt universal stabilizer enough for my 1.5 ton split AC? have asked a friend to sell his stabilizer to me.
