Many thanks for your reply. I was not suggesting somethinh wich would be out of reach of Mr mt_heart. The way the market is these days, you can easily find a 96-97 VTi in this price range. A 96/97 VTi is still far more better of then either a Vitz,Cultus,Alto, Santro or the likes.

Honda is not a good idea as a 10-year old car will demand a lot of parts replacement and repairs and you know the prices of honda parts of older moldles, so I personally think that it would not be a good choice at all.

have u ever kept a civic 97.
u will know when u will have a experience of a civic ive got 97 and its running qiute well.i havnet spent a penny extra on it either than running costs.
see wen a civic 97(ALMOST SAME PRICE RANGE) vti overtakes a cultus,santr0,joy(a joke from a chevy)totally mind bogling isnt it.
bhai civic ka 10 years main kuch nahi bugedta for your information.

yaar civic ride and handling is better. lakin 9 years use hoo chuki hai. bhaut kaaaaam nikal aatay hain 9 y used car. I had a 1990 model nissan sunny in 1996. although it was japnesese car and was in good condition, still i had to replace starter mot. alternator shocks and other spare parts. so in 1998 my father bought me a new Mehran and for three years it was trouble free. Never went to Mechanic for a major repair. But Mehran is only good for city drive. Last year when my family moved back to pak. we had two options, either a new suzuki or a 1997-1998 civic. so bought a suzuki cultus for 700k. But i think suzuki mot. is still charging that/f**** on. I dont know if I made a right decision because i dont think so kay you are going to spend 100000rs on repairs, if u keep that car for lets say 8 years. Labour bhaut cheap hai pak main aur spare parts bhi.
vitz is also better choice a 2002/03
