I am using standard chartered credit card and fully satisfied. It has annual fee but i am using since last 3 years and haven't paid any fee because each year they give offers to refund annual fee provided you have spending of 50k in last 3 months which is very easy to do.
I pay bills, do shopping etc all with it.
Works all over the globe.
They have reward points(VISA) and cashback offers (Mastercard) so in long term you actually get some $$ in one form or another.
They also have multiple discount offers at different restaurants and medical centers so you get that benefit too.
CIP lounge access in all major airports for 2 people if you have platinum card.
These days they give 10% flat off (up to 1000PKR) every sunday on daraz.
You also have the cash credit facility meaning you can withdraw money from ATM using credit card however interest is charged.
You also have the option to pay your bill in installments though they charge some processing fee i think 1500PKR so e.g. if you are looking to buy something expensive then you buy it and tell them to make its payment on installments. My friend bought 2.25lac iphone and paying back in installments now.

Is there CIP lounge for SCB at Jinnah International? I only found UBL and Alfalah lounges. Went to Islamabad intentional, they said no CIP lounge operating at Islamabad international. That was a let down

Its been few years i last traveled to KHI airport that too on a domestic flight. In Lahore, there is CIP lounge and they accept a variety of cards. I am not sure what you mean by UBL/AlFalah specific lounges. CIP lounge is generic you can even pay the per head cost and enjoy.

Correct. CIP lounge is available for any person having specific card/category of card (usually gold and above). Full list are available on bank websites.

Speaking of lounges, my personal experience at Karachi, CIP is available and accessible. Lahore, I tried, no one seemed to know so I followed signs. Only PIA lounge was open rest all closed, and PIA lounge was full of sleeping staff! Havent been to new ISB yet so cant stay. Quetta, got CIP access no questions asked.

Ok I think we are taking about two different things. At Karachi, UBL and Alfalah have their separate and exclusive hospitality lounges where entry is free for gold and gold plus cardholders, everything is complementary and on the house. Nice way to kill some time at airports if flight gets delayed. Is this the same case in CIP lounge?

Oh Ok i didn't know about that. In Lahore, if you got SCB platinum card, they allow 2 people per card at cost of rupee 1 each. Once you enter the CIP lounge, its same as you said (everything is complementary and on the house)
Kindly note anyone is allowed in this CIP lounge as long as you pay for it. For card users, its just 1 rupee. For others its 1500 or may be more now.

Here are some details:
50K total in last 3 months when fee reversal offer is available. They give offers quarterly so keep checking with them for it.
Fee can be reversed using rewards points as well.
